The Villa Gabrisa, formerly an ancient villa owned by the Rispoli family, is located in a fabulous residential area of the historic centre of Positano, at less than 15 minute walk from the beaches.

From every elegant and full comfort room there is an expansive view of the deep blue water of the Tyrrhenian sea, of the famed “Li Galli” islands and a picturesque view of one angle of Positano.

SUITE APARTMENT
Located in our below annex building, reachable by stairs, has a large terrace with sea view. This suite has a comfortable living room and a bedroom with private bathroom and large shower.

SUITE ELEGANCE
Located on the first floor are the largest rooms of the structure. They all have a balcony or terrace with sea view.

Their peculiarity is being furnished with antiques, of periods between ’700 and’ 800, and other fine furnishings handcrafted from famed design companies in Florence and this make this rooms the most romantic and elegant of our hotel. The large sizes allow you to enjoy a living space among the largest of Positano.

SUITE
Located between the main building and the side wing are all located on the first floor and have a balcony or terrace with sea view. These rooms are not only the most romantic but at the same time are unique as each room has its own design.

They are large enough to have a comfortable living area and whirlpool bathtub in the room or a separate living area and larger bathroom with whirlpool bathtub. The bathrooms have shower and outdoor whirlpool bathtub or shower over bath with whirlpool bathtub.

JUNIOR SUITE
Located on the second floor have a spacious sun terrace and sea view. The rooms have Florence’s handcrafted furniture and a living area in the room. The bathrooms decorated with marble and ceramic tiles from Vietri have showers over bath and whirlpool bathtub.

DELUXE ANNEX
Located in the adjoining wing to the main building, those are large rooms with terrace and sea view.

The rooms are comfortable and bright with a classic and minimalist style; the bathrooms are modern in design and all equipped with shower over bath and whirlpool bathtub. The rooms are reachable by few stairs from the street level and there are located on the first floor.

STANDARD ATTIC
Located in the attic, reachable by steps from the elevator of the second floor, they are very bright and warm rooms and all have a private bathroom with shower and terrace with an endless and incredible view of the sea.

THE RESTAURANT
The restaurant “da Gabrisa” offers a marvelous view of the sea, a comfortable and elegant atmosphere and a typical local cuisine, based on recipes of our culinary tradition.

A careful research of the details is evident in the caring of the furnishing and in the chef’s daily gastronomic suggestions. Our Kitchen offers a choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

The menu is based on the ancient Neapolitan recipes, which have been passed down from generation-to-generation. Like any other family of Positano, with origins of farming and fishing, we grew up with the most delicious and uncontaminated products, which nature and the sea offered.

Since we were kids, we have always been involved in family activities, such as feeding the animals, taking care of the gardens, and helping to prepare the big family dinners.

With the same joy and strength today, we continue our culinary traditions. We offer our guests recipes that have been passed on from generations, and unique local ingredients which have become rarer on the market.

THE WINE CELLAR
Over 350 labels have been carefully chosen for our guest’s, based on quality and rarity. We are constantly updating our list with new labels. Our current list includes wines from the main prestigious wineries, not only from Italy but also from France and New World Countries.

A growing attention has been given to small companies that have introduced in their production, organic wines or a limited use of sulfites. In the last few years we have been carefully selecting companies that are bringing back the traditions from wines produced 1000 years ago.

POSITANO
Positano is the pearl of the Amalfi Coast, also known as the “Vertical City” for its characteristic houses arranged along the mountain. The houses, the narrow streets, the shops with local handicrafts create an almost fairytale atmosphere in which the visitor is transported to a timeless place.

The church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with its characteristic majolica dome is the characteristic symbol of Positano in which one comes across before reaching the characteristic Grande Spiaggia di Positano, which attracts thousands of visitors every year.

A characteristic “Sentiero degli Innamorati”, with a unique scenery, connects the Spiaggia Grande to the Spiaggia di Fornillo, at whose ends the two towers dominate: “Torre Trasita” and “Torre di Fornillo”.

AMALFI
Amalfi is the oldest of the Maritime Republics, in addition to the beaches and promenade, offers visitors many attractions to spend a wonderful day.

The Cathedral, dedicated to Sant’Andrea, a characteristic and representative monument of Amalfi, which attracts thousands of visitors every year from around the world.

The Diocesan Museum, the Paper Museum and the Museum of the Arsenal of the Republic offer the visitor the opportunity to travel back in time and learn about the history of Amalfi.

For lovers of excursions not to be missed “Valle delle Ferriere” a hiking route where you can admire the ruins of the ancient ironworks, the characteristic vegetation up to the spectacular waterfall.

RAVELLO
Ravello is located in the upper part of the Amalfi Coast, offering a panoramic view of the Gulf of Salerno, Maiori and Minori. it is known for the “Ravello Festival”, a musical and cultural event held every year during the summer, with an evocative stage mounted on the Terrace of the Infinite, by Villa Cimbrone.

PATH OF GODS
The Path of the Gods is one of the most beautiful trails in the world. The Path connects Bomerano, a hamlet of Agerola, with Nocelle, a hamlet of Praiano, offers a unique point of view to admire the Amalfi Coast from the top.

Praiano, Positano, the Galli Islands, Capri are just some of the beauties you can admire along the Path.

SPIAGGIA GRANDE
Starting from Piazza dei Mulini, take the characteristic narrow road that leads to the Spiaggia Grande di Positano, passing by colorful boutiques and small shops, real treasure chests of local traditions.

The Spiaggia Grande is the longest of Positano, located at the base of the pyramid and guarded behind the imposing Church of Santa Maria Assunta, in a setting of unmistakable beauty.

Full of shops, bars and restaurants and starting point for boat trips along the coast, it shows in the evening its most glamorous face, with several alternatives to spend the evening.

FORNILLO BEACH
A favorite place for those who love tranquility, Fornillo Beach is the second beach of Positano, reachable through the romantic promenade that part of the Spiaggia Grande and passes next to two of the three ancient Saracen towers.

The characteristic pebble beach has a free area and several establishments with adjoining restaurants.

LAURITO & ARIENZO BEACHES
The two beaches are located in the homonymous neighborhoods of Laurito and Arienzo, far from the center of Positano. They can be reached by sea or through long and characteristic stairways that start from the state road, in the direction of Amalfi.
