Our way of being hoteliers is inspired by a few simple concepts. First of all, offer the best possible hospitality, in which people are the most important thing. We pay close attention to detail and seek the best products for our guests, from our breakfast to our line of organic bathroom amenities.
Secondly, we share what we like with our guests, from our personal design style to our contemporary art to the short stories that you will find in your room every evening.
Lastly, we strive to continuously improve our hotel with better comfort, innovative services and reduced impact on the environment. Our idea of a hotel is a place where you can feel good right in the heart of Milan.
Since childhood, our country house has always been full of friends and guests who came and went. So much so that it was jokingly called the Marzot Hotel.
Thus it seemed natural to run ourselves the Hotel Spadari, left by our grandfather.
Our mother Marida and her partner Urbano were the true visionaries. They transformed the old hotel into what became one of the first art and design hotels in Italy (and also in the world).
They proudly filled it with all their passions, not only for art and design, but also for comfort, beautiful linen, refined porcelain, collectibles, plants and flowers. After thirty years the hotel has remained unchanged and has kept the same touch as it had back then.
We love it as it is, with it’s charming vintage feeling. We do not want to change it because we are deeply convinced that our hospitality is not made only of high quality and services. Our hospitality consists also of care, smiles, generosity and above all special attention to people, our staff as well as our guests.

LOCATION
Just outside the 4-star Spadari Hotel, you will find the best of Milan: the Duomo (cathedral), La Scala theatre, Da Vinci’s Last Supper and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, considered the salon of Milan.

Welcomed and cuddled in the blue room frescoed by Valentino Vago you can enjoy our simple cuisine. A good pasta with tomato sauce, Matteo’s favorite the pasta with tuna, Giusy’s Sardinian recipe, the salads of Marida, the founder of the family, the selection of Piero’s cold cuts.

THE LOUNGE BAR
A refined refuge from the lively Milanese frenzy. A place to sip your favorite tea or a good glass of wine. Relax in front of Giò Pomodoro’s fireplace listening to classical or jazz music, reading your favorite book or newspaper.
