Executive Chef Beau MacMillan
Renowned Food Network celebrity chef and Sanctuary’s Executive Chef Beau MacMillan inspires his staff with his passion for fresh ingredients. Chef MacMillan’s ingenuity in the kitchen is stimulated by his belief that food should not be overworked, but rather appreciated for its simplicity and natural perfection.
This philosophy is evident in Chef Beau MacMillan’s innovative seasonal menus that focus on fresh, local ingredients procured from a network of artisans and organic farmers.
A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Chef Beau MacMillan spent a year under the tutelage of Chef Francois de Melogue before joining La Vieille Maison in Boca Raton. He held Sous Chef positions at the prestigious Hotel Bel Air and Shutters on the Beach in California.

Taliesin West
Taliesin West is a desert home at it’s best, and is known as much for its unique design as for its notable resident: American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. A National Historic Landmark, Taliesin West was Wright’s winter home, and, as such, was built and maintained almost exclusively by Wright and his apprentices.
The home has been a beloved Scottsdale feature since 1937, when it was erected out of the rocks and sand from the desert washes that surround it. Taliesin West now houses a living and working architectural school as an homage to Wright’s impressive legacy.

Heard Museum
A world class destination known for its fine collections celebrating American Indian cultures and art. Originally founded by philanthropists Dwight and Maie Heard in 1929 the museum has grown in size and stature over the years.
Their mission is to educate visitors and promote a greater understanding of the indigenous peoples of the Americas with an emphasis on the Southwest. The Heard Museum is open Mon-Sat 9:30-5 and Sun 11-5 and is located about 20 minutes from Sanctuary near downtown Phoenix.”

McCormick Ranch Golf Course
Featuring two 18-hole courses, both park like in design. The Palm Course features ten water holes and, as its name suggests, showcases many large palm trees. The Pine Course has many mature pine trees and is a bit more narrow. (480)-948-0260 – Beginner Appropriate.
Talking Stick Golf Club

Grayhawlk Golf Club
The Talon Course offers elevated greens that are large and undulating, with numerous water hazards coming into play as well as one hole with an island green.

TPC Scottsdale
The resort-style layout of the Stadium Course has gained immeasurable attention as the stage for the FBR Open.

Sanctuary Resort encourages guests to ensure all loved ones accompany them during their stay. Our pet-friendly accommodations welcome cats and dogs up to 50 pounds.
All pets staying with us receive a welcome letter and an arrival gift upon check-in, as well as a kitty litter box or puppy bags for waste disposal. Our pet friendly resort coordinates with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are refreshed at your convenience.
A “Pet in Room” door hanger is also provided to ensure privacy as needed. Pet friendly areas are offered throughout the resort for your convenience however, pets are not permitted inside villas, elements restaurant, jade bar, the spa, or pool area.
