Cooking

For those who want to enjoy the season of Yufu. Please fully enjoy the four seasons with kaiseki cuisine that changes the moon. We have carefully selected ingredients mainly from local Kyushu, and you can enjoy the chewy taste of the ingredients themselves.

You can enjoy authentic Japanese cuisine that makes full use of it. Do not prepare any of the dishes, at the timing of your consumption. It is Tanokura’s belief that we also serve food.

Breakfast

Bath

Kinrin Lake

Yufu

It is located on the border between Yufu City and Beppu City, and is called Bungo Fuji because it has a conical shape. At an altitude of 1,584m, it is a famous peak that has been worshiped as a mountain of gods for a long time and appears in “Bungo Fudoki” and “Manyoshu”.

From the top of the mountain, you can see Beppu Bay, the Kuju mountain range, and the town of Yufuin. Many people climb the mountain, and it takes about 3 hours from the front entrance to the summit.

Narrow Wutai

An observatory at the foot of Mt. Yufu. You can overlook the Yufuin basin and the cityscape of Yufuin, and especially from October to December, it is a popular tourist spot as a great view point of Asagiri.
