HISTORY
In 1953, Mr Vidal, a lawyer and the first owner of the Club, chose to make his summer residence here on the magnificent site of Cavalière. He took over a small hotel that he kept essentially for his own friends and named it Le Club de Cavalière.
This Provençal villa had an atmosphere all of its own – the epitome of well-being and comfort. It has been rebuilt and extended over the years and nestles in lush green grounds next to one of the most beautiful beaches on the Côte d’Azur.
GUEST ROOMS
Le Club de Cavalière & Spa’s guest rooms are sleek yet cosy – the perfect place to snuggle down for the night. Its guest rooms are spacious and sophisticated and boast four different colour schemes: Provençal, blue, sand and gold. They are all bright, cosy and elegant – perfectly delightful.
These light-drenched rooms simply bring the sea and the sandy beach indoors and have been meticulously decorated and appointed. Top-quality designer fabrics sit side-by-side with fine designer furniture.
The guest rooms boast views over the sea, pool and garden. Many are interconnecting. Adapted rooms for people with reduced mobility available. SUITES
Our three spacious, sophisticated Suites are decorated in two different colour palettes. Sand, our first palette, is contemporary yet classical. Comfortable furniture and beautiful fabrics in toning shades guarantee a luxurious stay.
Gold, our second palette, is in toning shades of gold and grey. These colours are picked up by the curtains, the sofa and even the light fittings. These rooms are cosy cocoons, with their bright yet subdued light.
The bathrooms are modern and individually appointed. Chrome, tiles, marble and Bisazza glass mosaics all combine to create delightful bathrooms. VILLAS
The Villas, looking out over the sea, are ultra-luxuriously appointed. With their designer, carved-wood furniture, they are havens of peace and tranquillity. Those who sail in them can look out of their large bay windows and revel in views of the wide open sea.
The bathrooms are also evocative of travel with their sleek, horizontal chrome, tiles and glass. Frosted glass and pebbles add a touch of the exotic. LA VIEILLE FONTAINE RESTAURANT
La Vieille Fontaine Restaurant’s terrace is right at the water’s edge. In the high season, at lunchtime, it serves a copious buffet of hors d’oeuvres and desserts and, for dinner, dishes from its gourmet à la carte menu.
Settle down on the terrace, at the water’s edge, and savour the region’s gentle pace of life. Drink in the magnificent sea views from the sunkissed terrace, under the shade of parasols or wide-leaved mulberry trees. Dine by candle- and lamp-light in the evening.
Here, overlooking the sea, near St Tropez, you will experience the uncanny feeling that you are captain of your own ship. Ropes away, full steam ahead – a veritable culinary journey awaits.

MARC DACH’S CUISINE
Marc Dach serves a comprehensive, top-quality à la carte gourmet menu. He is a proponent of Provençal cuisine and sees this as an opportunity to showcase the finest regional ingredients such as line-caught fish, olive oil.
This Chef’s delicious, mouthwatering dishes are testament to his creativity and passion for food. Every coming season offers the opportunity to orchestrate a new culinary experience.
Since 1992, Marc Dach has been applying his skills with passion to create a Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and using his know-how to bring out the best in regional seafood. His is a simple, traditional, mouthwatering cuisine.
À LA CARTE AND SET MENUS
At lunchtime, there is a wide choice of cold Mediterranean starters, hot starters, and a range of local fish and regional meats. The grill menu is light and will satisfy the most demanding of palates. It is accompanied by a wide range of seafood and a copious, mouthwatering buffet of hors d’oeuvres and desserts.
Lunch: 12.30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
At dinner, dishes are presented in all their finery to surprise and delight our guests. This spot, overlooking the sea, is perfect for an evening with family or friends. Blue lobster from the Breton coasts, clams with seaweed butter and line-caught seabass offer a gateway to the culinary secrets of the deep blue sea.
Dinner: 7.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m.
Our cellars contain a wide selection of wines from throughout France to serve with these delicacies. They have been carefully selected by our Maître d’Hôtel – just ask our staff for advice on the best wines to accompany your meal.
BAR
Enjoy a drink on the bar terrace in the shade of the wide-leaved mulberry trees. Come and enjoy this unique setting, any time of the day, for refreshments or an aperitif. Enjoy a holiday drink to the sound of the waves.
The beach stretches out in front of the bar and in the distance the pontoon juts out into the sea. Unalloyed joy, both for the eyes and the palate. In the evening, relax to the soothing music played by our pianist. Chill out in the ambiance of our piano bar, where time seems to stand still.

OVERLOOKING THE LE LEVANT ISLANDS
Le Club de Cavalière & Spa, with its delightful views over Le Levant islands, is a charming spot. Porquerolles island is an exquisite earthly paradise with beaches, magnificent scenery and a tiny village, so typical of this part of the world, which gave its name to the entire island.
Port-Cros island, the second most beautiful island in the Var, is 4 km long and 500 m wide. It owes its name to the hollow shape of its tiny port. A veritable gem lapped by the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean.
These islands offer a whole host of leisure activities nearby: scuba diving, hiking along the coast roads amidst the summer flowers, etc.
