The secret of our dishes lies in their simplicity. Besides the continental or English breakfast every morning, our menu for lunch and dinner is always varied with traditional and healtht recipes. Don’t miss our homemade desserts or cakes (upon request).
Services at the camp
Our talented chefs and our professional and enthusiastic camp staff will be glad to attend to any special needs. A sizzling hot bush shower at sunrise or sunset and our next day laundry service are at the disposal of our valued guests.
For those who are not coming with their own vehicle, we are happy to arrange spectacular game drives in private safari vehicles with your own driver/guide and can also help organise transfers and extra activities in the area such as hot air balloon rides.
Classic Tents
Comprising twin beds, dressed in the finest Indian cotton, warm duvet and Masai blankets, the classic tent is furnished with carpets, bedside tables and luggage racks. Ambient LED reading lights are provided by the camp’s solar energy facility.
An en suite toilet & open air shower, as well as your very own veranda, are standard, allowing you privileged views of the surrounding wildlife from the comfort of your own tent.
Accommodation meal plan available in the Classic Tent: Full Board Plan: includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, mineral water, tea and coffee.
Vip Tent
Our VIP Camp comprises 4 VIP Savannah Tents (9m x 3m) with twin or double beds dressed in the finest traditional Indian cotton, warm duvet and Masai blanket, furnished with carpets, bedside tables and luggage racks.
En suite open air shower and toilet and your very own veranda are standard for each tent, in addition to ambient, LED reading lights provided by the camps solar energy facility.
Ideal for families or friends who wish to share their tent (max. 3 persons) or for those who decide to take their tented camp experience that bit further and enjoy the exclusive services of our VIP chef and attendant waiters with an all- inclusive VIP meal and drinks package.
Besides the larger tents, VIP Camp owns its dedicated Mess Tent.
Game Drives
Game drives are designed to take you close to the areas rich in wildlife within the Serengeti National Park. This gives you an opportunity to view wild animals in their natural habitat as they go about their daily activities.
It is recommended that you use a local driver guide he should be familiar with the area, able to give you lots of information about the animals and their habitat, and know where they can currently be found and how best to approach them.
However, one can opt for a self-drive safari as long as you comply with the rules and regulations of Serengeti National Park.

Kananga is a Spanish Tour operator specialising in adventure travel throughout the African continent since 1992.
As the pioneers in the Spanish Market to offer overland safaris, today it is proud to design and operate more than 55 itineraries in over 30 African countries, all of which are controlled 100% by Kananga head office in Barcelona.
Its African branch, based in Arusha, Tanzania, runs two tented camps inside the most emblematic National Parks in East Africa; Julia’s River Camp within the Masai Mara Nature Reserve in Kenya and Kananga Special Tented Camp inside the Serengeti National Park.
It also operates its own logistical base; with a fleet of 22 specially adapted overland trucks for the best safari experience.
