Hotel Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico is located in the historic town centre of Rovinj. It is made up of 3 houses which date back to the 1920s, and were owned by a prominent italian family.
In the last couple of years, the buildings were abandoned and in a very bad conditions, but the owner saw the potential to revive them into a new light as a boutique hotel. The buildings where carefully renovated and now form a coherent architectual structure.
The hotel has 7 double rooms of different sizes, of which some have terraces, sea view or the view to the old town and the church of St. Eufemija.
With everything mentioned, the interior of the hotel is carefully designed so it can offer its guests the best of novadays comfort, but also a true display of the architecture of the past and Istrian tradition.

MEDITERRANEAN TASTES
On the bottom floor of the hotel Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico is our lounge bar and wine cellar located in the space of an old water cistern. There is also an inside garden with a typical old water well from the last century.
On cold fall days you can warm up by the old istrian open fire place. In the afternoon and evening hours we offer a variety of carefully chosen Croatian, Slovenian and Italian wines and excellent choice of strong alcoholic drinks.
Also, we invite you to taste the delicacies from our local Istrian cuisine. All dishes are freshly prepared from superb local ingredients the same way your grandmother would prepare them.
In addition to Mediterranean and Istrian specialties such as prosciutto, carpaccio, truffles, asparagus, cheeses and homemade bread, our chef prepares daily fresh sweets for you. Enjoy our range of first-class local ingredients, freshly prepared as your “nonna” cooked.
Our chef prepares daily fresh desserts that go with great coffee or cognac. The specialty of the hotel is choko lava cake, so enjoy our offer.
LOUNGE BAR
On the ground floor there is a lounge bar and wine cellar overlooking the inner courtyard with a unique well from the last century.
Unique handmade furniture chosen by our architects, also an open fireplace for the winter months contribute to a comfortable and sophisticated ambience. The wine shop creates a romantic atmosphere for tasting for connoisseurs and wine lovers with carefully selected Croatian, Slovenian and Italian wines.

ROVINJ
Rovinj is a city that offers a wide selection of sports and recreational activities. Guests who like a lighter form of recreation will surely enjoy long walks by the sea, through the park “Golden Cape”, which is close to the old town.
For more demanding sports enthusiasts, Rovinj offers: sailing, diving, sport fishing, rowing, kayaking, free climbing, cycling, horseback riding and jogging along groomed cross-country trails.
BEACHES
Rovinj has beaches for every taste. The nearest beach to Spirito Santo Palazzo Storico is the beach “Monte”, located below the Church of St. Euphemia, just 7 minutes walk from the hotel. It is a rocky city beach, a favorite spot of the locals.
Mulini beach and Lone bay are new pebble beaches in the immediate vicinity of the city center near luxury hotels. Beaches are perfect for all those who want to rent a deck chair and drink a cocktail in the Beach bar. Zlatni Rt and Škaraba are wild beaches in a forest park 1 km from the hotel.
These are beaches with rocky surfaces, green sunbathing meadows and many hidden coves, for those who want to enjoy intimacy. To the beaches on the islands of Sv. Andrija (Red Island) and Sv. Catherine’s boat leaves every hour from the city port.

In the old part of town you can visit small shops, art galleries, souvenir shops, jewelry stores and an interesting town market with fresh fruits, vegetables and Istrian specialties such as: olive oil, truffles, spices, honey and brandy.Along the promenade of the new marina, are available new shops with products of higher quality brands.
STREETS
Rovinj is the most romantic town on the Istrian peninsula. Rovinj owes its romantic appearance to a small space, which influenced the construction of cramped houses, narrow streets and small squares, which have remained intact to this day. The city is dominated by the baroque church of St. Euphemia, the patron saint of the city.
NIGHTLIFE
