HERBS DE LOŠINJ FOUR PRECIOUS PLANTS
There are an astounding 1,200 varieties of plants growing prolifically on our tiny island. Over 900 of them are indigenous and as many as 230 species are medicinal.

Our plants, like family members, are greatly loved and ever-present in local life: a grandmother rubbing salve of sage, the coveted oil of Immortelle touting youthful skin, and of course a plentiful staple of herbal Rakija, a tonic of fortitude.

Experience Losinj’s most precious plants and locally distilled oils through all six senses in this sojourn. We begin as herbal sommeliers savouring the flavours and fragrances of four house-cured herbal liquors. Continue the warmth with a full body massage employing island essential oils, distilled by our plant whisperers.

The addition of healing salt stones, herbal poultices and an energetic traditional smoke smudging with our four herbs smudge sticks creates the botanical pièce de résistance. Now close your eyes and imagine this harmony of touch played to the music of our Čikat Bay whispering pines. Available solo or duo

BLINDFOLDED CONCERTO NO.16
Founded in 1842, the Vienna Philharmonic is considered to be the finest orchestras in the world. Its most prolific period being the turn of the century, a time when Losinj was a celebrated island wellness escape for Viennese aristocracy.

Trace this distinguished history with a wellness experience to be remembered. A nod to the gift given to the world by the many legendary Austrian composers, rhythmical hands perform a perfectly choreographed full-body symphonic massage.

Classic massage techniques and individualised pressure are used but to heighten the sense of touch and deepen the melodic precision, our therapists have trained for this remarkable body dance completely blindfolded. Available solo or duo.

Work out with a personal trainer in our state-of-the-art gym which offers an extensive personal training program to help you reach your fitness goals. PRIVATE AEROPLANE TOURS
Beauty is found in many faces, and while some beauty is created by people, others are created by nature itself. Lucky for you, we have chosen you the best of both – Venice and Plitvice Lakes.

Allow us to sweep you off of your feet for an unforgettable day accompanied by a private plane, car, and tour guide to two of the most divine locations in the world.

VENICE – “THE QUEEN OF THE SEA”
Situated in the north of the Adriatic coast is Venice, a city emerged from the sand and sea like a mirage. Resting entirely on posts, crisscrossed by canals and connected by bridges, the city itself is a unique piece of art.

The laced façades of luxurious palaces, rounded domes and slender bell towers of ancient churches are reflected in the still surfaces of the canals where gondolas glide and vaporetti race.

The magnificent Piazza San Marco, surrounded by the Doge’s Palace, St. Mark’s Basilica and the façades of the Procuratie, is the perfect place to gather your impressions while sipping on an obligatory espresso.

Once the centre of a powerful maritime republic that introduced the glow of silk and the scents of spices from the East to western aristocrats, Venice has managed to preserve its enchanting cosmopolitan charm.

PLITVICE – “THE KINGDOM OF LAKES”
When gazing out from the lookouts on Lošinj, fixated on the blue contours of the Velebit coastal mountain range, it is difficult to imagine that hidden right behind it is an untouched world with mystical forests, canyons, and subterranean rivers.

Here lies the magically beautiful Plitvice Lakes, and yes, there are 16 of them. At Plitvice Lakes, crystalline water flows from one turquoise lake to another, over distinctive travertine barriers that create waterfalls up to 100 metres wide.

The surging waterfalls are awe-inspiring, and will especially take your breath away under the 76-meter-high Veliki Slap (“Big Waterfall”).

Whether you wander along the wooden footpaths beside the waterfalls or cruise the Kozjak Lake, these are genuinely delightful experiences for any true nature lover and every romantic at heart.

SUNSET DINNER
Čikat bay is one of the most romantic settings along the Adriatic, and fortunately for you, our Alfred Keller restaurant is situated in the very heart of the bay, polished with ancient pines and the serene sea.

While the views are nothing short of breathtaking, one table, in particular, is separated from all the others – boasting a genuinely spectacular picture of your charming getaway. Especially at sunset when the golden hues ignite the bay, wouldn’t you like us to reserve you a spot?

Your table will be decorated with particular attention to detail where you can enjoy a three-course meal. Just imagine the aromas and flavours of selected local ingredients, including fresh fish and home-grown vegetables which are preserved and additionally enriched by the superior culinary skills of our chef.

For your maximum enjoyment, complement your dinner with a favourite wine from Keller’s generous wine cellar, and make a toast to cupid. After dinner, enjoy a stroll along the waterfront by the moonlit sea and just be.

SUNSET CRUISE
While enjoying the setting sun from the shore may be spectacular, it pales in comparison when you have the option to sail into the blazing and bright sky. As the sun slowly disappears behind the horizon, forming a silhouette of the island of Susak, the sea is marked with thousands of radiant shades.

The tranquillity of the sun kissed sea, the soft summer breeze, and the silence of the coming night sees the first stars begin to twinkle. Sailing into the sunset with us will stimulate all of your senses.

Because we know you’re tempted, why not hire a boat with a skipper, bring your loved ones along, and set sail without a care in the world?

Cruising towards Susak and the golden sun, our sunset cruise allows you to immerse yourself in the afterglow while enjoying the peace it brings – and don’t think we forgot about the wine, champagne, canapés, and fruit.

If you’re swept away by the beauty of the moment, we encourage you to break out into song – a tale as old as time declares that the sea’s sunsets turned fishers and sailors into poets and singers.

CULTURAL HERITAGE
If you genuinely want to learn about the island of Lošinj, you should take an excursion in the company of our guides to visit the most prominent island towns.

For a superb holiday, get to know the island of Lošinj with a half-day excursion (roughly 4 hours), visiting the most important sights of the island’s towns in the company of our guides.

The trip includes a private car and driver, and we can also adapt the itinerary to best suit your interests. Lošinj’s cultural heritage is a unique mix of Istria and Dalmatia, influenced by a long maritime tradition and stimulated with authentic island mentality.

PICTURESQUE VELI LOŠINJ
We recommend that you start your tour with a visit to the nearby town of Veli Lošinj. At the entrance to town’s picturesque harbour stands the imposing parish Church of St. Anthony the Abbot. With its opulent baroque interior, the church is furnished with the gifts of famous sea captains from Veli Lošinj.

You can find out more about them in the museum located in the beautiful circular Tower, the top of which offers a stunning view of the harbour and the former Captain’s palace, surrounded by beautiful gardens.

COSMOPOLITAN MALI LOŠINJ
You can continue your tour in Mali Lošinj, one of the most significant island towns in the Adriatic today. Situated at the bottom of a magnificent cove, Mali Lošinj has two waterfronts that give it an unusual width.

The observation deck located at the top of the Museum of Apoxyomenos offers the best views of the harbour, while the museum itself is a must-see location for everyone who enjoys antiquities and exceptional art.

The central exhibit of this impressively designed museum is a giant bronze statue of a young Greek athlete ‘Apoxyomenos’, uniquely preserved and alluring. The figure was discovered in 1996 at the bottom of the Lošinj sea.

If you love art, make sure to visit the nearby Lošinj Museum and enjoy the Piperata and Mihičić art collections.

ANCIENT OSOR
It would be impossible to really know the local heritage of the island without paying a visit to Osor, the ancient capital of the Cres-Lošinj islands.

Founded over 3,000 years ago, Osor was once a significant trading town back in the Roman times thanks to the human-made channel constructed between the islands of Cres and Lošinj.

The best way to learn about its turbulent history is by visiting the Osor Archaeological Collection which dates back to 1889. Our guides will gladly accompany you for a walk through this exquisite town-monument.

OLIVE – FROM ANCIENT TO MODERN TIMES
Get to know the islands of Lošinj and Cres, once known as the Apsyrtides, and experience the culture and tradition of olive cultivation, from ancient to modern times.

You will be treated to a tour of the ancient town of Osor and the Kučić farm located in Martinšćica, where you can find out everything you wanted to know about how olives were cultivated in ancient times and how they are cultivated today.

Do not miss your chance to indulge in traditional island delicacies, such as olive pâtés and sheep milk cheese in olive oil, with a glass of wine or homemade sage juice!

We will finish up your historic field trip with a visit to a one-of-a-kind museum dedicated to one of the world’s best preserved Greek statutes – the bronze statue of Apoxyomenos found at the bottom of the sea near the island of Lošinj.

RAISE THE ANCHORS AND SAIL AWAY
How many times in your life have you wanted to raise the anchors and sail away into the unknown? Now you finally have the chance. There is no better way to explore the islands than by sailing.

Approaching the islands by sea and sailing into their coves – from the large, protected and well-known gems to the small and mysterious coves with small beaches – will awaken you with a feeling of wanderlust you’ll find hard to shake.

Lucky for guests of Bellevue, the dream of sailing is not hard to reach. All you have to do is choose the type of boat you want (a motorboat or sailboat), hire a skipper, and pick the destination you wish from our offer of excursions (Susak, Plava Grota – Cres, Rab, etc.).

SAILING THE MODERN WAY
If you are an adrenaline junkie who loves the thrill of speed, are someone who wishes to see as much as possible in a short amount of time, or are looking to arrive at your desired destination quickly and safely while enjoying the comfort of your loved ones, we have just the right options for you.

We recommend that you hire one of our motorboats – the Cap Camarat 5.5. cc is perfect for small groups, and for a larger groups of guests, the Cap Camarat 6.5 cc will suit you just fine.

SAILING THE TRADITIONAL WAY
If you want to experience the pure pleasure of sailing the seas, then cruising with the “Catriona” sailboat is the best choice for you.

Navigated by the safe hands of the skipper and crew, the sound of the wind in your sails, coupled with the waves splashing alongside this beautiful 12-metre sailboat – this will be an experience you will remember forever.

We will ensure that your trip along the breathtaking Lošinj aquatorium is worthy of the Argonauts in the famous Greek myth. They were the ones who placed these islands on the first known maps of the ancient world, after all.

As the old Romans said: “Navigare necesse est, vivere non est necesse”. Or, in a language you might better understand: “The only thing important in life is sailing, travelling, moving…”
