Nestled away in a leafy haven, the Hotel Le Château de Fleurville welcomes you to exceptional surroundings in the heart of Southern Burgundy. Erected in 1624 by the Counts of Fleurville and located between Tournus and Mâcon, the château was fully restored in 2000 by France and Pascal Lehmann-Rapin.
It now embodies a charming marriage of tradition and modernity. Its bright, Burgundy limestone façade, its charming circular tower, its park with centuries-old woods, its high chimneys and rustic stone floors, all these bear witness today to a lifestyle which lives on!
During your stay at our hotel near Mâcon, relax by the heated pool, stroll through the park with its ancient trees, take breakfast or dinner on the terrace in good weather, make the most of the sauna and the jacuzzi, play tennis on the private court and set out on bike to discover the “voie bleue” (blue cycle route) from the château gates.

The spacious, comfortable, rooms and suites at Château de Fleurville are little havens of peace. They are air-conditioned and come as doubles or twins. All of them feature a handsome bathroom with a bathtub or shower, telephone, flat screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi, minibar… some come with a terrace. They all enjoy charming views over the park or the pool.
The rooms and suites at our charming hotel have been designed to ensure your stay between Mâcon and Tournus in Burgundy is as pleasant as possible. Entrance hallways provide access to two rooms at a time, meaning rooms can be arranged into family apartments on request.
APARTMENT
The family apartment at Château de Fleurville is able to accommodate four to five people. It comprises a master suite with a double bed, a large lounge, and a small, children’s bedroom. Bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink and separate toilet. One permanent additional bed is available for a fifth person. Superb view over the park.
JUNIOR SUITE
This spacious suite for two comes furnished with a double bed. It features a private entrance and a private terrace overlooking the château park. It is refined, very comfortable and features a lounge area and a superb bathroom with complimentary toiletries, hair dryer, bathrobes, and slippers. This room has disabled access.
SUPERIOR ROOM
Make the most of the enchanting settings of the château with a stay in one of these spacious (35 m²) rooms. They feature a double bed and a little lounge area. One of the rooms is located on the ground floor and has disabled access. It also features a terrace. The spacious bathrooms come with a shower, complimentary toiletries, hair dryers, bathrobes, and slippers.

THE RESTAURANT
In the heart of Burgundy, the restaurant at Le Château de Fleurville is sure to delight with its generous, simple cuisine. Chef Sébastien Di Noto composes a gourmet menu inspired by local, seasonal produce. A subtle marriage of local ingredients and flavours from further afield flourishes in an array of colourful dishes.

THE MENU
Our gourmet restaurant in Burgundy serves a selection of refined dishes across two menus: the “Tradition” Menu and the “Comtesse de Fleurville” Menu.
Both are inspired by a rich and subtle mix of local flavours: foie gras, Bresse pigeon, Charolais meat, langoustines, Burgundy cheeses and gourmet desserts. An “à la carte” option is available too. Legendary chef Alain Ducasse has honoured our restaurant including it in the “Tables Remarquables” group, with “bonnes tables” accreditation.
THE CHEF SEBASTIEN DI NOTO
Before returning to his native Burgundy, the chef at Château de Fleurville, Sébastien Di Noto, earned his stripes in a number of prestigious establishments.
After working in Luxembourg, Belgium and Ireland, he settled in Provence, at L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue where he was awarded a Michelin star at restaurant Le Vivier. Today, in the heart of Saône-et-Loire, he focuses his talent and experience on the gourmet cuisine of Burgundy, and has been doing so for the past ten years, to the delight of our guests.

MACON & THE SURROUNDING AREA
When you stay at Le Château de Fleurville in the wonderful setting of Southern Burgundy, you’ll discover there’s plenty to see and do in this wonderful region. Fleurville is located in the land of art and history between Cluny and Tournus, which offers many riches of heritage, with the Romanesque churches playing a starring role.
Less than a quarter hour from the hotel lies Tournus. This town almost has a Mediterranean atmosphere and houses many treasures of Romanesque art, with the Abbaye Saint-Philibert as the crown jewel.
Just 30 minutes from Fleurville, discover the Abbaye de Cluny. A spiritual heart of Medieval Europe, it is one of the most visited abbeys in France and still retains to this day a church, a cloister and a convent.
You can also discover the Rock of Solutré (a major prehistoric site), the Climats de Bourgogne (major winemaking plots), the Château de Cormatin and the Château de Berzé-le-Châtel, plus don’t miss the area of Burgundian Bresse with the quaint village of Louhans and its Grand-Rue, a unique street lined with 157 arcades dating to the Late Middle Ages.
THE MACONNAIS DISTRICT
When you stay at Le Château de Fleurville, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Mâcon and discover the wine cellars and vineyards of Mâconnais. Located 14 km from our charming hotel, the town of Mâcon on the banks of the Saône has a Mediterranean flair with colourful façades and round-tile roofs.
Its historic centre houses exceptional monuments such as the Saint-Vincent Cathedral, the Saint-Pierre Church, the Maison de Bois (Wooden house), the Saint-Laurent Bridge, the Musée des Ursulines and the Musée Lamartine, dedicated to the 19th century statesman and republican Alphonse de Lamartine, who was born in Mâcon and spent his childhood at nearby Milly (now called Milly-Lamartine).
The Mâconnais district, the southernmost vineyard of Burgundy, stretches 50 km between Sennecey-le-Grand to the north and Saint-Véran to the south. It produces five renowned “village” AOC white wines (some of the most prestigious in Burgundy): Pouilly-Fuissé, Pouilly-Vinzelles, and Pouilly-Loché.
THE VINEYARDS OF BURGUNDY
Burgundy – the very name conjures up an array of wonderful images of bountiful vineyards, stately châteaux, charming villages and natural splendour. Here you’ll find some of the world’s finest wines are produced, which you can discover along the Route des Grands Crus, an exceptional itinerary along the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune.
You’ll also find sleepy villages bathing in the sunlight, as well as ancient sites such as Alésia, Bibracte and Autun. And whichever way you turn, you’ll find open and dynamic towns like Beaune, Chalon-sur-Saône, Tournus and Mâcon.
If you love exploring places at your own pace, then you’ll love discover the secrets of Burgundy by bike. In this rich historical region, special routes will lead you to the heart of the wine country. By car or on foot, you can also discover the many châteaux, villages and wine cellars for a cultural pitstop.
