Overlooking the unspilt shores of the Moray Firth and nestled amongst the ruins of an old castle the 17th century Glenmorangie House is both luxurious and intimate. With everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel, but with the warmth and personality of a country party house, this really is a special place to come and experience the rugged beauty of the highlands.

From colours and objects mirroring our whisky’s story, to stargazing experiences, delicious food and bespoke bedrooms hinting at Glenmorangie’s flavours…We invite you to enjoy our more wonderful version of reality, with all your senses. Relax in tranquil surroundings and discover the joy of Glenmorangie House through a technicolour aesthetic and flavour-inspired rooms.

As with the rest of Glenmorangie House, our six double en-suite bedrooms have been individually designed by interior designer and storymaker, Russell Sage. Each room is unique and tells a tale of Glenmorangie.

Our three cottages immerse guests in the creativity and art of casks, malting, and marriage of flavour. Situated behind the main house, each cottage has one bedroom (with the option of arranging into twins if required) and a separate lounge with a sofa bed.

With space for up to 21 guests, you can take over Glenmorangie House exclusively for an unforgettable experience filled with delicious meals and wonder-full adventures at the distillery and beyond.

DINING

Changed daily, our innovative lunch and dinner menus use the best ingredients of the Highlands and the best of the season. *Breakfast is included in guests’ stay and dinner can be added at the time of booking or by speaking to a member of the team.

DISTILLERY EXPERIENCES
Here you will meet the Distillers of Tain. Deeply versed in our anything-is-possible style of whisky making, these men and women possess skills built over generations. Truth be told, we couldn’t create our delicious whiskies without them.

CLASSIC WHISKY TOUR
Get to know our creamy, complex single malt as you trace the journey of our signature whisky, The Original, through our distillery. Scent the fruity aromas that emerge in our lighter spirit and see the bourbon casks where our whisky mellows for 10 years. Finish your whisky distillery tour with a two-dram tasting from the Core Expressions range.

OTHER ACTIVITIES
Ideally located just an hour north of Inverness, wildlife lovers and golfers alike can explore the very best the Highlands has to offer. From an abundance of castles and golf courses, including world-renowned Royal Dornoch, to boat trips around the Moray Firth and Loch Ness where you never know what wildlife you might spot.

THE SPIRIT ANIMAL
The giraffe has long been a beloved symbol of the Highland Distillery. The same height as a giraffe, its stills allow more space for taste and aroma, which is why Glenmorangie’s spirit is so wonderfully delicate and fruity. But the giraffe faces serious threats in the wild, from poaching to habitat loss.

Numbers have fallen by almost 30% in just 30 years – and some types are now critically endangered. To play its part in helping the giraffe, in 2020 Glenmorangie forged a pioneering conservation partnership with the Giraffe Conservation Foundation (GCF) and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS).
