Hotel Rum Budapest is an ideally located design hotel created especially to appeal to modern urban explorers. The building features the famed TOPRUM Sky&Bar, bringing exciting flavors and delicious cocktails to you on top of the city. Our hotel guests can enjoy their breakfast here every morning. TOPRUM is open every day from 12 PM until 11 PM for our delicious share plate menu & great drinks.
Another member of the RUM family is SALT – a fine-dining restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. Hungarian roots and flavors are the focal points here: the meat is from a family farm, and herbs and wild plants are hand-picked in the country by the chef himself. SALT is open Wednesday to Saturday from 6 PM to 11 PM for an exciting gastro journey.
BLACK RUM
Just like dark rum that is known for its full, deep aroma these premium rooms are not for the faint-hearted. Soak in what Budapest has to offer while gazing over the city on a relaxing day. These spacious and lively rooms feature king-sized beds and convertible double sofas that allow for a double or triple room option.
GOLD RUM
Good as gold. We spent the time brewing the perfect room with a sweeter, richer flavor for guests with a larger appetite. In addition to the king-sized beds, high-quality cotton sheets there are cozy armchairs or sofas to lounge on and an extra Nespresso machine is available to make your stay more delicious.
SKYBAR & RESTAURANT
The skybar and restaurant is situated on the top of a stylish design hotel called HOTEL RUM – thanks to its location, the 7th-floor bar offers a magical panoramic view of the Budapest skyline.
Guests of TOPRUM can lounge 365 days a year in this amazingly designed place: in the cold months we keep the rooftop nice and cozy with a panorama glass wall, so the view remains uninterrupted, while in the summer you can lounge under the sky. TOPRUM’s main expertise lies in the carefully selected bar food and brunch options to encourage tasting and sharing with a wide selection of fine wines and champagne.
While brunch is promoting a slow and healthy lifestyle, our bar food menu is based on the Hungarian and international classics. These dishes always come with a twist as prepared by chef René Rába.

SALT BUDAPEST
Salt Budapest was created on the foundations of the traditional Hungarian cuisine, where Chef Szilárd Tóth’s kitchen herbs and wild plants play an important role. Majority of these is collected by the chef himself in the countryside, the rest is produced by farmers. Everything in the dishes is freshly pickled and fermented.
Our poultry products come from Szilard’s own family meat manufactury from Szatmár. Bread is a prominent part of the Hungarian food culture, and it is baked and served by us every day. Alongside the meals, friendly hospitality defines the time and atmosphere of a meal spent together as if it was just a family dinner in the countryside.
The unique interior also contributes to this experience: the Chef’s table stands in the middle of the restaurant so that guests could easily have a few words with the hosts. The two hosts – the Chef and the restaurant manager, Máté Boldizsár – often serve the dishes themselves. We serve home-made fresh juices and wines from the best European wineries. In addition to the classics, we also offer natural wines.
