Vis a Vis is perched on a high promontory above Sestri Levante providing spectacular views over the two beautiful bays of the town, Baia del Silenzio (the Bay of Silence) and Baia delle Favole (Bay of Fairy Tales) named in honour of Hans Christian Andersen, a resident of the town for a short time.
The Hotel has an elevator which takes you down to just a few steps from the historical centre of the town and a short walk to the beaches and hotel offers a secure private parking where you can leave your car. The train and the boat are the most recommended means of transport for visiting our region.

Olimpo is our main hotel restaurant offering guests exclusive and tasteful fine dining cuisine of culinary and gastronomic excellence, as a distinctive sign of Italian identity and culture.
On entering the restaurant guests will be amazed by the breathtaking views in the exceptional elegant setting with full panoramic windows all around the restaurant.
The design of the ceiling gives the effect of a star-studded sky, and the whole ambience is truly one of “floating in the sky”. You will be transported back to the elegant restaurants of the great transatlantic liners of a century ago.

THE GIUNONE RESTAURANT
During the summer, guests will enjoy the outdoor Restaurant Deck Giunone situated on a terrace in the gardens, adjacent to the outdoor swimming pool. Here breakfast,and dinner are served enabling you to relax by the pool throughout the long summer days.
THE PORTOBELLO RESTAURANT
Under the same management as the Hotel Vis a Vis, the Portobello Restaurant offers an incredible charming and romantic location, and is the most appealing alternative from dining in the Hotel.
This delightful and atmospheric restaurant is situated in the bay of Baia del Silenzio, (Bay of Silence) just a few steps from the water and includes an outdoor dining deck over the sandy beach. With its Mediterranean cuisine, the Portobello invites you to discover the genuine, traditional tastes of Ligurian cuisine par excellence, with delicious flavours of the land and sea.
THE SKY BAR
The Deck Zeus is the quintessential Sky Bar, situated on our rooftop terrace. The spectacular scenery and sublime cocktails create intense emotions of delightful enjoyment.

THE BREAKFAST
Breakfast with a warm welcome and stunning view…. The Olimpo Restaurant, with its all round panoramic views, offers a rich and inviting continental buffet served from 7.00 am to 10.00 am. Room service for breakfast is available from 7.30 am to 11.00 am.
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we take care in providing quality and richness of choice: Croissants, cereals, fresh fruit buffet, fruit juices, milk, cheese, salami, ham, boiled eggs, hot buffet, cakes, breads and jam… and a lot more..
We are attentive to the needs of vegetarians, vegans and all dietary requirements for food intolerances. During the summer season you can choose to enjoy your breakfast in the open air on the Giunone terrace.

THE SWIMMING POOL
The heated outdoor swimming pool with panoramic views is set amid the peace of the surrounding olive trees and is open from April to October from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Cool yourself with a refreshing dip or simply spend a relaxing time on the sun loungers surrounding the pool and in the garden. Our pool assistant will offer you towels, umbrella and sun loungers. Savour a delicious cocktail or light meal from the adjacent Sky Bar Zeus, where our attentive staff are always on hand.
In summer, cuddles lovers can enjoy a delightful massage in the shade of the gazebo of the pool garden area…. and those who want to bask in the pool even on the departure day…. they can leave their suitcases in the luggage storage and use the locker room for a refreshing shower before leaving!

SESTRI LEVANTE
Sestri Levante is the best starting point for those who want to visit the most beautiful resorts of the Ligurian Riviera from Camogli / Portofino to Cinque Terre and Portovenere. Just a few steps from the Hotel Vis à Vis, at the bottom of the sea promenade, you will find the ferry boat terminal for nice daily boat excursions .
For those who prefer to move by train, Sestri Levante station is 800 mt. from Hotel Vis à Vis. The Cinque Terre Express train stops in every village of the Cinque Terre. From and to Sestri Levante there are also daily direct trains to the main Italian cities: Milan, Rome, Turin, Naples.
For those arriving by plane, the most convenient airports are Genoa (45 min.), Pisa (1h.30), Milan Malpensa (2h.30)
