Pieve Sprenna farmhouse is an old Country House in a peaceful setting of vineyards and olive groves. The gardens and swimming pool with whirlpool system are surrounded by Cypress and Pine trees. At the restaurant, you can sample delicious tuscan cuisine, created from local products: wine, oil, cheese, mushrooms and truffles in season.

Our rooms and apartments all have views, all around you Sienese countryside, that harmonises the work of man and nature, and offers a scenic beauty. CAMELIA ROOM
Spacious and comfortable double room with exposed beams and original floor from the 1600s, located on the upper floor of the main house, offering a beautiful view of our vineyard and the Val d ‘Orcia from its windows.

Large private bathroom with tub/shower. Equipped with air conditioning, mosquito nets, hairdryer, kettle for herbal teas and coffee, TV, mini fridge, wifi and courtesy set. In this room it is possible to add a third bed or a cot.

LA TORRE ROOM
La Torre, a romantic room with exposed beams, housed in the Ancient Pieve Pieve Tower, with a 360 ° panorama, where from each of the nine windows that surround it, you can enjoy the fascinating beauty of the Sienese countryside.

A small suggestive corner where you can spend unforgettable moments. Equipped with air conditioning, windowed bathroom with shower (without bidet), hairdryer, mini fridge, kettle for herbal teas and coffee, TV, wifi, mosquito nets and courtesy set.

MARGHERITA ROOM
Double room with exposed beams, bright and spacious with side view, located on the upper floor of the main house. Equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom with shower, mini fridge, kettle for herbal teas and coffee, hairdryer, wifi, TV, mosquito nets and complimentary toiletries. In this room it is possible to add a third bed or a cot.

ROSASPINA ROOM
Double or twin room, with exposed beams, located in the dependance 100 meters from the main house, on the raised ground floor, with French windows overlooking a small terrace with table and chairs.

Equipped with air conditioning, windowed bathroom with shower (without bidet), hairdryer, kettle for herbal teas and coffee, mini fridge, mosquito nets, TV, wifi and courtesy set.

TRAMONTO APARTMENT
Apartment located in the annex (100 meters from the main building) obtained from the renovation of an old barn with exposed beams and views of the Tuscan hills. For its privacy and tranquility, the apartment is suitable for couples or groups of friends.

Arranged on two levels, it comprises, on the ground floor, a kitchen with fireplace, with direct access to the private garden equipped with gazebo, table, chairs, sun loungers, outdoor shower and barbecue.

Upstairs a double bedroom with bathroom with shower. On the ground floor another double bedroom with bathroom private with French window overlooking the garden. It is possible to connect the apartment with the Bella di Sera double bedroom to reach 6 beds.

The apartment is equipped with: Kitchen with open counter, fireplace, stove with 4 burners, kitchen utensils, refrigerator with freezer, American coffee machine, moka, toaster, small electric oven, kettle, mosquito nets, wifi, TV, linen, courtesy set and air conditioning. TULIPANO APARTMENT
Apartment with independent entrance on the raised ground floor with exposed beams, spread over 2 levels, on the ground floor we find the kitchen, on the upper floor a large and bright double bedroom with private bathroom, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the rolling Sienese Hills and on the vineyards and olive groves of the farmhouse. A second double bedroom on the ground floor with bathroom, equipped with a French window overlooking the pool.

The combination creates a single apartment consisting of 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, a kitchen and 2 independent entrances. Outside, in the common garden, table and chairs are available for our guests. Suitable for two couples of friends or family with children.

Apartment located on the upper floor of the main house with exposed beams, recently renovated. The wide view of the swimming pool and the pine forest makes the apartment bright and pleasant. From the room, a magnificent view of our vineyard and the surrounding countryside.

Consisting of a double bedroom, a private bathroom with shower, one kitchen living room. It is possible to add a third bed and a cot.

THE RESTAURANT
La Pieve restaurant will delight you with rich breakfasts based on sweet and savory dishes, lovingly prepared by mother Annalisa, such as soft donuts, Nonna Maria jam tarts, biscuits, olive or walnut bread. Our buffet will also be enriched by a wide selection of savory products from our area, such as Pecorino di Montalcino, ham, salami, eggs and much more.

In our garden in the summer, and inside in the colder months, we serve dinner upon reservation. Chef Brando prepares typical dishes of the Tuscan tradition with genuine simplicity, which can be accompanied by the excellent Arrigo VII wine produced with 100% Sangiovese and BIO grapes from our vineyards.

Dinner costs 30.00 Euros per person and includes a daily fixed menu: appetizer, first course, second course with side dish, dessert; (Drinks are excluded). For children there is a reduced menu at a cost of 12.00 / 15.00 euros, or based on consumption. Upon reservation, it is possible to taste an excellent Fiorentina di Chianina.

BUONCONVENTO
Buonconvento 4 km from Pieve Sprenna: this little medieval town on the Via Francigena is the closest one. It is considered one of the most beautiful “Borgo” in Italia. Here you will find shops, restaurants, typical “trattorie”, supermarket, chemist’s shop and banks.

MONTALCINO
Montalcino 10 km from Pieve Sprenna: is a picturesque small town on the top of one of the rolling hills immersed in exceptionally beautiful landscape. There are numerous vineyards and wine producers in the area, a perfect placet to taste world renowned wines, Rosso and Brunello di Montalcino.The nearby Abazia di Sant’Antimo is the perfect place for peaceful spiritual visit.

PIENZA
Pienza 25 km: is a splendid little hilltown on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites as a very fine example of early Renaissance urban planning. It is also famous for the delicious “Pecorino di Pienza” cheese.

SAN QUIRICO D’ORCIA
San Quirico d’ Orcia is a town in the province of Siena , probably of Etruscan origin . The strategic importance of this village grew gradually in the Middle Ages for its special geographical position and especially to the influence exerted by the Via Francigena that crossed it. The Abbey of Sant’Antimo is one of the most significant architectural monuments of Romanesque and a significant example of monastic building of the early twelfth century . The magnificence of the church is enhanced by the surrounding landscape where the olive gathering is the key element .

FLORENCE
Firenze 80km from Pieve Sprenna: the city of Dante Alighieri, is one of the world’s most fascinating cities, with historical delights such as Ponte Vecchio.

It is a city of magnificent palaces, buildings, churches and squares of mostly Renaissance splendour, art. culture, history and contemporary design and fashion and international cultural attraction such as famous Uffizzi galleries and the cathedral, il Duomo, with the stunning cupola by Brunelleschi.

PIEVESPRENNA & THE FRANCIGENA
Siena starts a stage of 28.5 km which complete in less than seven hours. A challenging course along the roads of the Val d’Arbia, with views of Siena characterized by profile. Continuing along the foothills of the Crete Senesi, it is touched and you get to Monteroni Quinciano.

A short distance away is the fortified village of Lucignano d’Arbia with the Romanesque church of San Giovanni Battista. After a stretch along the railway line you reach the stage destination in Ponte d’Arbia, where you will find our farmhouse in the countryside for a short stay before leaving for your journey.

HORSEBACK RIDING 
“We dive into nature with horses and follow the white roads hidden in the woods galloping through the fields. The paths are surrounded by cypresses and towards the end of June the cereals ripen on the fields and the sunflowers turn clockwise.

We are in the middle of Tuscany, on the most beautiful hills between Siena and Montalcino, while the wonderful landscape of the Crete Senesi is around the corner.

The olive groves and vineyards alternate. Riding a horse you have the most beautiful view of the surroundings of Buonconvento. The views are breathtaking and every season the landscape changes completely.

BIKE TOUR
Pieve Sprenna is located along the permanent path of the Eroica, in the territory of the Crete Senesi. Located south-west of Siena, they include the municipalities of Asciano, Buonconvento, Monteroni d’Arbia, Rapolano Terme, San Giovanni d’Asso and Trequanda, all located in the province of Siena.

The name derives from clay, of which this territory is very rich and which gives the territory its characteristic gray-light blue color and a lunar appearance. The landscape is characterized by gently rolling hills, very old oaks and solitary cypresses, forests and natural water sources.
