Almaha Marrakech is a retreat of indulgent artists: a riad hotel that brings together generations of traditional Moroccan craftsmanship and contemporary art in rhythm – the beauty of order.

The soft shine of polished tadelakt on tactile Bedouin textiles, the candlelight on burnished metal, a landscape rendered by a multitude of silk pixels…Inspired by Baudelaire’s poem Invitation au voyage, Charles Kaisin created interiors designed to move the soul and captivate the senses.

The quintessential Marrakech experience, just 4 km (15 minutes drive) from Menara airport: walk through the pink walls of the medina, get lost in a labyrinth of alleys and you have arrived at a bygone moment. A haven of order and beauty awaits you behind an unpretentious door: cross the threshold and discover the Almaha boutique hotel.

Located in the heart of the Kasbah – the oldest part of Marrakech, where the royal stable once stood – Almaha is perfectly placed to explore the mysteries of the medina, its exotic souks and bustling squares, and, beyond the red city, visit the desert and the Atlas mountains.

The best tourist sites of Marrakech are a short walk away: observe the centuries-old stucco and zellige in the superb Saadian tombs; marvel at the mighty minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque; wander through Jemaa el-Fna Square with its smoky food stalls, conjurers, musicians and snake charmers; explore the Jewish quarter Mellah; see the sumptuous Bahia Palace. Your peaceful retreat in a riad is never far away.

JUNIOR SUITE
With interiors by Charles Kaisin and handpicked works of art, this 32m² room on the ground floor or upstairs has a pretty stone fireplace in front of an oversized double bed, traditional furniture in inlaid wood and an arabesque wall. The marble bathroom has two sinks and a rainfall showerhead.

SUITE
Almaha’s most spacious accommodations, these generous first-floor suites (63-67m²), designed by Charles Kaisin, have direct access to their private terraces and large separate living rooms with circular fireplaces.

Bedrooms are decorated with beautiful carved stucco, feature oversized double beds with inlaid wood headboards, and en-suite bathrooms with marble soaking tubs, rainfall showers, and twin sinks.

DINING
Take a seat in the richly sculpted library to taste delicious traditional tagines and a comforting couscous; sip an invigorating mint tea while observing the skyline of the medina through Les Terrasses Almaha; enjoy a glass of wine in a corner of the candlelit courtyard at the Patio or in Le Pixel; have breakfast on your private terrace.

LA BIBLIOTHÈQUE
Let yourself be surprised by an authentic decor imagined by Charles Kaisin, 1083 literary works presented like a paper sculpture under a sculpted cedar ceiling which brings together, letter by letter, Baudelaire’s poem “The invitation to travel”. In addition to this, you need to know more about it. The invitation to travel: A menu imagined by chef Kenza highlighting the traditional dishes of Moroccan cuisine.

LES TERRASSES D’ALMAHA
This restaurant and bar-terrace perched on the roofs. The space invites relaxation, day and night, and offers spectacular views of the Red City, the Medina, the Agdal gardens, the imperial ramparts and the Atlas Mountains. The place is ideal for relaxing, having lunch, dinner or having a drink under the stars of Marrakech.

LES BAINS D’ALMAHA
