Today the chalet is the core of the Alpine Boutique Villa Gabriela with the breakfast room in the winter garden, the sun deck and the reception, surrounded by marvelous meadows and forests. Taking the exclusive location under consideration, an exciting building was created that makes it unique.
Snow, sun, winter holiday in the mountains, to be exact, in the Dolomites, and this in our small but exquisite lodge, which is located in the immediate vicinity of Val Gardena and therefore of the Sella Ronda as well. SKIING
The whole region of the Dolomites is available to you through the Dolomiti Superski with its 460 lifts and 1220 km of slopes.
Just in the Alpe di Siusi-Val Gardena skiing area you’ll find 84 lifts and over 175 km of slopes that are in excellent condition with snow until spring, there are slopes for every level, from training slopes for beginners to world-cup downhill slopes.
The scenic and enjoyable skiing on the Alpe di Siusi with its 60 km of slopes and ultra-modern lifts provides you with a fantastic natural landscape and unlimited winter fun.
The Sella Ronda is a special “skiing adventure”; you will be skiing around the enormous Sella alpenstock next to unique scenery. The Gherdëina skiring is just as beautiful and the “Witch Tour” on the Alpe di Siusi promises just as much fun and enjoyment for young and old.
CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
Cross-country skiing brings movement into your life! On the Alpe di Siusi you’ll find the most beautiful conditions for this sport. There are over 60 km of very well prepared double- and freestyle cross-country ski runs in the middle of the mountain pasture and breath-taking scenery.
Here everyone can pick and chose the perfect track for his own taste. Thanks to the various distance options there are a lot of alternatives from easy to difficult. It is definitely worth it for skaters and those who prefer classic cross-country skiing.
SNOWSHOEING
The numerous hiking paths are a winter wonderland! Snowshoeing opens new perspectives. With a small amount of strength you can reach places that until now were unreachable for hikers in the winter.
The walking in the snow-covered terrain doesn’t require special skills and the movement is relatively easy. Experienced guides will accompany you on fascinating snowshoe tours and winter hikes.
HIKING & CLIMBING
Nature is not something that can only be seen by the eyes alone. She lies in the soul as well, in the images on the backside of the eye. “Edvard Munch” The Dolomites UNESCO WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE, magic words that speed up the heartbeat of hiking lovers.
You think about the Alpe di Siusi with the Sciliar, Sassolungo and Sasso Piatto, Sella, Odle, Marmolata and Tre Cime di Lavaredo, about steep ridges, vertical walls, hiking trails in front of magnificent scenery, vie ferrate.
GOLFING
“One of the most fantastic 18-holes golf courses of Northern Italy” – is the experts unanimous verdict.
Since the course is located in a quiet, idyllic area in the middle of the Dolomites the golf playing itself is almost secondary if it was not for the perfectly cared for course and the playing challenge, which can definitely be compared with other international courses.
