Immersed in the greenery of Salento, in a place where in the eighth century AD there were monasteries of Basilian monks and a watchtower erected in 1577 by the Gonzagas of Mantua, both still existing, the Masseria Fano continues its history under the banner of agricultural productivity and hospitality.

Masseria Fano as usual, welcomes its guests to perpetuate its culture: that of rest and refreshment made unforgettable thanks to the perfect harmony between nature and man.

With the same care given to its guests, 1,500 centuries-old olive trees are cultivated which extend over 40 hectares of fertile land. Our exclusive products are born between the sea and the land, including a prestigious extra virgin olive oil, all intended for a consumer with a demanding and refined taste.

ROOMS & SUITES
Authenticity between past and present. Masseria Fano is made up of eight suites equipped with every comfort and characterized by the typical rural spirit. The furnishings such as the bathroom and the bedroom have been made with sustainable material in full harmony with the style of the Masseria. FAMILY SUITE
Located in the courtyard on the ground floor, the family suite consists of 2 rooms. In the first we find the king size double bed, while in the second room a living room with a sofa. The French sofa can be adapted to use by families. Equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating, walk-in closet, LCD TV, wi-fi internet connection, minibar, desk, hairdryer, safe and courtesy set.

JUNIOR SUITE
The Junior Suite 2 is elegant, functional, welcoming and carefully restyled. It can accommodate a maximum of two people in a double bed and on request a cot. It has a large bathroom with chromotherapy and shower covered in earthenware and a set of fine cotton linens that make these rooms comfortable even for long stays.

It is also equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating, some of them also with a wood-burning fireplace, walk-in closet, LCD TV, wi-fi internet connection,, minibar, desk, hairdryer, safe and courtesy set.

DELUXE ROOM
The Deluxe room can accommodate two people in a room with a double bed, has a bathroom full of details. In general, the furnishings reflect the style of sustainable rural design, moreover, they are equipped with air conditioning, underfloor heating, walk-in closet, LCD TV, free wi-fi connection, minibar, hairdryer, safe and complimentary toiletries

VISTA SUITE
The Vista Suite was born inside the Gonzaga Tower, the highest part of the Masseria, accessible via a 16th century staircase. The bathroom and bedroom furnishings have been made with sustainable material in full harmony with the style of the Masseria.

Here we find a comfortable king size double bed, an elegant fireplace, a widespread library, an audio speaker and a minibar. The terrace is set up with comfortable sun loungers overlooking the sea, will accompany your afternoons and the moonlight.

DINING
In this suggestive place, surrounded by vineyards and centuries-old olive trees, you can get to know the ancient and authentic flavours of Apulia. Our food experience is a unique sensory journey that begins in the morning with a delicious breakfast and ends at sunset with the celebration of Apulian gastronomic excellence thanks to the Bistrot “La Terrazza“.

THE BISTROT
The bistrot “La Terrazza” is dedicated exclusively to the guests of the Masseria Fano, it was built with local materials with a rural language. The menu reflects the seasons and the dishes are prepared with organic, fresh products from the short supply chain of local and regional excellence.

The vegetables, vegetables and aromatic herbs used are grown directly in the Masseria’s garden and harvested before their use. The bistro offers a wine list that highlights and traces the vineyards and wine of Masseria Fano.

THE SWIMMING POOL

THE PRODUCTS OF THE TERRITORY
Masseria Fano offers food and wine excellences designed to satisfy the most refined palates. Among these, four selections of extra virgin olive oil, the puree obtained with organic tomatoes, the black olive paté, the pomegranate vinegar and the whole wildflower honey. The latter contains the essence of the characteristic flowers of southern Italy typical of the native scrub.

In addition, the agricultural tradition focuses on the care of viticulture by selecting the best bunches from native vineyards, for the production of Negroamaro in purity, unique for its red color and its aromas of withered red fruits. A small selection of Fiano completes the range of products, a pleasant white wine with a convivial character.
