The sheer beauty of Ca’ Sagredo Hotel is weep-with-joy wondrous. As you pull up alongside the Grand Canal, you’ll need to pinch yourself and again when you step inside.

The 15th century Palace has been declared a National Monument and still preserves the untouched beauty of an ancient noble Residence. It oozes romance while the opulently frescoed ballroom and lounge echoes with epic events of the past.

Just gliding up the imposing marble staircase; whilst resisting a tap on a cherub’s peachy cheek, feels positively regal. Ca’ Sagredo’s views of the canal life and the historical Rialto Market opposite are storybook scenes of old.

The hotel’s 42 magnificently appointed rooms and suites are a seriously suggestive sight to behold with classic Venetian styling. Art lovers be warned: there are so many treasures here, it’s easy to forget the outside world.

But there’s always the hotel’s panoramic waterside L’Alcova restaurant with terrace over the Grand Canal to remind you, serving dishes that are a celebration of Italy on a plate.

This magical location has inspired our Chef’s approach: the absolute protagonist is a cuisine made of fresh ingredients and characterized by a strong “Back to Nature” concept.

Local delicacies are enhanced in his menus through the daily attentive personal selection from the Rialto Market: a “Natural Flavours Philosophy” providing a fresh twist on the authentic Venetian cuisine. His vision can be savored on his refined plates, characterized by rich tastes and great personality.

The suites have been designed with an emphasis on history and luxury. The floor-to-ceiling windows showcase breathtaking views over the Grand Canal. These Suites have a sophisticated urban-chic feel with elegant furnishings, antique decor and a spacious layout.

These suites consist of Library Suite, Four Light Windows Suite and Grand Suite.

The Library
A balcony runs all along the upper part, composed by a wooden railing with small golden columns. Above the massive 18th century library bookshelves in white and light green wood with golden carvings, the letters of the alphabet still stand out clearly.

These bookshelves once fostered Zaccaria Sagredo’s massive collection of volumes and printings and still nowadays completely cover the walls. This unique suite combines a magnificent historic ambience with sleek and contemporary touches.

The Four Light Windows
Enjoying an enviable setting at the front of the hotel, this superb suite has been decorated using a stunning cream and blue colour palette highlighted with elegant touches of gold.

Richly decorated with antique furniture, Murano glasses and precious fabrics and with an emphasis on style, comfort and luxury, the suite’s magnificent floor-to-ceiling four light windows offer one of the most breathtaking views of the Grand Canal, Rialto Market and the Ca’ D’Oro.

Grand Suite
Set on the Palace Noble Floor, this open space suite is the utmost suite of the hotel. Spaciously designed with an emphasis on style, comfort and luxury, the suite’s superb floor-to-ceiling windows throughout an entire wall allow you breathtaking views across the Grand Canal and Venice skyline.

Each Suite decorated with paintings and stuccoes by renowned 17th and 18th century artists represents the truly Venetian experience.
