“Mars Activities” meets all tastes!
The first is for the curious. It has been very successful since its very recent creation, and which is a unique experience in Tunisia, is that of Off Road driving, piloting baptisms in the desert on Suzuki Jimnys, by our Mars Mobility Academy. For the nostalgic, camel rides, For sportsmen and adventurers and quads and buggies.
And during the season a program of sporting discoveries in the desert takes place: paramotoring, hot air ballooning and parachute jumping. These activities are systematically announced at the start of the season on all our social media channels and on our homepage under the heading “Soon on Mars”.
Discovery tours of the great Sahara and the Tunisian desert are also organized by Camp Mars: the discovery of the hot water lake of Errached, the oasis of Ksar Ghilane and the various “Ergs”.
All kinds of rallies all year round
Every year rallies cross the Tunisian desert. A large majority of them choose Camp Mars as a stage and as an accommodation and organizational structure.
Motorcycle and paramotor raids have also become annual events at Camp Mars with the pillars of adventure, conviviality and the management of these events meeting the level of requirement of both organizers and pilots.
Music & Silence
If Camp Mars were a story, it would begin in 2007. Landing at the foot of the mountain Timbaïne, the one that “can be seen from afar”, Camp Mars has given new life to each dune and each rock. Staying at Camp Mars is a bit like “staying on another planet”.
Another form of tourism in the heart of the desert: the immensely small in the infinitely large: the Tunisian Sahara. Being at Camp Mars means being in the middle of nowhere, around the campfire under the Milky Way, on a dune, around a table for new encounters and totally disconnected from modern life.
It is because the human values of authenticity, sharing, solidarity are so beautiful and so great that they deserve to be lived, felt and sublimated. And Camp Mars was. Over time, we have discovered the richness of Timbaine and all its potential, which we have tested each time with passion and conviction.
