Castello di Bibbione, is a beautiful farmohouse situated in the heart of the Chianti region, an unforgettable destination not to be missed. Immersed in the greenery thanks to its position, it dominates the Chianti hills panorama of rare beauty and harmony.
The foundations of the Castle go back to the 9th century and the Machiavelli family remains the owners until the descendant Rangoni Machiavelli, who personally took care of the restoration. All apartments are decorated in a rustic style with all modern comforts, beautiful outdoors, a stunning swimming pool, and also a Wellness Centre.

The property of Castello di Bibbione consists of the farmhouse with all the different apartments, the swimming pool and a wellness centre, all overlooking the Chianti hills. We have also a separate Villa with private pool for maximum twelve people.
The apartments of the property can accommodate from two to six people. Our guests of the accommodations can use our shared infinity pool, open from may to october.
The “Villa Il Poggio” is a beautiful private house sorrounded by olive trees, with a breathtaking view on the tuscan landscape. The Villa can accommodate up to twelve people, and the guests of this indipendent apartment can enjoy the private pool immersed in the olive fields.
VILLA IL POGGIO
This farmhouse is located in the estate at 100 meters from the medieval village and enjoys a panorama of the Chianti hills and olive groves of the farm establishment from all its rooms. The house is friendly and luminous and decorated with antique furniture, kilim carpets and every modern comforts.
On the first floor, there is a spacious living room with fireplace, a sitting room, a large kitchen, a dining room and a loggia which offers the possibility to dine outside. An old staircase takes you up to the second floor, where there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The flat Il Poggio, which is found on the ground floor of the villa, has a private entrance, with one double bedroom, two single sofa beds, kitchenette, bathroom with shower. Olive groves and intimate atmosphere, stunning private pool (and gym!), are the perfect settings for your holiday in Tuscany!

Large and spacious accommodations with elegant details and modern fornitures. In this type of apartment you find two double bedrooms, double sofa bed, dining area, kitchen, bathrooms with jacuzzi or shower. Some solutions enjoy also of a private garden or terrace.

WINE & OLIVE OIL
Castello di Bibbione farmlands extend, in the heart of Chianti Classico, over 24 hectares which are cultivated with vineyards, 16 hectares Sangiovese and 8 hectares Merlot. The property since 1965 is member of the co-operative Castelli del Grevepesa, to whome it sends the grapes which are transformed into wine. The farm also has about 2.000 olive plants, thanks to we produce excellent Extra Vergin Olive Oil.
WINE TASTINGS
The wine tour at Bibbione consists of a visit and brief description of the Castle history followed by the wine tasting, where the guests discover the evolution of wine production in Chianti and learn how to taste and appreciate wine like true professionals!
They enjoy a comparative tasting of two wines offered together with Tuscan bread , pecorino cheese and extra virgin olive oil produced by Bibbione. In conclusion a very special glass of VinSanto and Cantuccini
