Nestled between a lush four-hectare forest and a calm, shallow lagoon, Lagen Island, El Nido Resorts’ Eco-Sanctuary island resort, has the densest forest over limestone out of the 45 islands and islets of Bacuit Bay.

Lagen Island serves as a sanctuary for a diverse variety of birds and mammals. Observe and delight in different endemic species flourishing in their natural habitat. Hike through Lagen’s forest trail which leads to a rewarding view of one of the coves on the other side of the island.

ROOMS & SUITES
Lagen Island has a total of 51 rooms that incorporate timber recycled from old Filipino homes for floors and furnishings to evoke charm and quiet luxury. Designed for maximum tranquility and calm, all rooms feature full-height sliding glass doors that open to a private veranda.

There are 20 Forest Rooms located at the fringe of the forest; 4 Forest Suites are located at the upper level of the Forest Room Complex. Each Forest Suite has a floor area of 70sqm that can comfortably house three, and features a bath tub and twin vanities.

There are 18 Water Cottages built on stilts above the water, and nine Beachfront Cottages with a panoramic view of the cove. Each of these rooms can accommodate a family of 3 persons.

ISLAND HOPPING
Taytay (Apulit Island) – Nabat Island has a very extensive reef area, perfect for snorkelling and diving. Its beautiful marine life contains coral gardens, flame scallops, nudibranch, lionfish, flatworms. On the other hand, Isla Blanca is a Spanish term for “White Island.” Guests can opt to just relax on the beach, snorkel or swim just in front of the island.

El Nido (Miniloc Island, Lagen Island and Pangulasian Island) – Find out how Snake Island got its name, climb into Cudugnon Cave, and see the cathedral-like formation of Pinasil. Our guides will give you fun facts and interesting stories as you discover the famous spots of El Nido.

Big and Small Lagoons – They say you haven’t really gone to El Nido if you haven’t seen the iconic Big and Small Lagoons. If you only have one day with us, then this is the place to see. Take photos at the Big Lagoon to your heart’s desire, as it is impossible to take a bad one. Then head over to the Small Lagoon to kayak – your guide will show you its hidden entrance.

ENTALULA BEACH CLUB
Have a picnic by the beach at Entalula Island. Rest and digest your lunch on one of our cabanas or on a hammock under the trees. You can also snorkel, kayak or play volleyball. Adrenaline junkies can try rock climbing (October to May). There is a limestone wall available for climbing beginners to advance climbers.

DIBULUAN BEACH CLUB 
Visit Dibuluan Island for lunch and try snorkelling and various water sports available such as hobie cat sailing, wind surfing, and kayaking.
