The Retreat

Suitable for families or groups of friends traveling together or for small events. The Retreat in Bali offers complete privacy with its own security and Guest Experience Maker (GEM) services. Guests can sit back and relax in one of the three private swimming pools, enjoy private dining, or hold small events or meetings.

It features four fully furnished bedrooms and two living room areas, a wine cellar and a private bar, kitchen setup, meeting rooms, and its own main porch. Simply drive from the entrance of the resort to your very own enclave within the resort.

Presidential Villa

The living room has dedicated areas for dining and seating. Each villa has three ensuite bathrooms with double vanities, indoor shower, outdoor shower and high-tech toilet.

Cliff Pool Villa – Two Bedroom
Ocean facing two-bedroom cliff villas in Bali ideal for families and friends has dining and living room and a beautiful garden pool. Perfect for families or couples traveling together, these two-bedroom villas offer uninterrupted views of the ocean.

The living room has a two individual areas for dining and living. Enjoy the ocean breeze on the sun deck which features sun beds. Each villa has an outdoor pool and a hot tub with a garden attached to the sun deck. The villa features two ensuite bathrooms with double vanity, indoor and outdoor showers and a high-tech toilet.

Cliff Pool Villa – One Bedroom
A Balinese-style cliff-top pool villa with uninterrupted views to the ocean from your private deck or bathtub. The cliff-top one-bedroom Uluwatu villa is inspired by Balinese architecture. A small temple at the entrance welcomes you to your home in the resort.

Watu Steakhouse
Steak and Japanese dishes combined with traditional flair. Watu Steakhouse is the culinary heart of the resort, located in the Square. Offering premium steaks, Japanese dishes as well as a selection of traditional and international dishes. Fresh selections of locally sourced meat and seafood are handpicked by our Chef daily.

The Cliff Bar
The Cliff Bar offers freshly oven-baked specialties combining Southeast Asian spices with traditional pizzas and homemade pastas. The drinks deserve a shout out too: try our house kombucha, purpleroot snow, chipotle margarita or banana-colada. Open for light snacks and drinks from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and dinner from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Organic Garden Tour
Did you know that we grow more than 10 different herbs, micro herbs and salad leaves in our organic garden? Every day our chefs collect fresh ingredients for their dishes and our spa therapists collect herbs for the treatment.

If you would like to learn more about how herbs and salad leaves grow in a dry, limestone hill environment, our Sustainability Manager will take you on a tour around the organic garden. He will guide you through all the different herb, salad and chili varieties as well as a quick visit to our mushroom hut.

Cinema Under The Stars
A true Six Senses experience is one that is unexpected. Relax in your sun lounger (best seat in the house) with homemade popcorn in hand and state of the art surround-sound to immerse in the movie moment. Scheduled screenings take place three times a week, but should you wish to have a more private experience, screenings can also be arranged for couples, families or groups.

Floating Breakfast

Sustainability for greener guests
Staying true to our core values, Six Senses Uluwatu, Bali has implemented a series of sustainability initiatives designed to reduce the energy, water and waste involved with every guest’s stay.

We actively raise awareness in our local communities on being environmentally and socially responsible, and welcome our guests and our hosts to learn more during our garden tours, meeting out friendly chicken & goats, learning about composting, and workshops in our Earth Lab.

Food and landscaping waste is fed to our chickens and goats, and we collect the manure for our organic garden. Kitchen oil is converted to biodiesel. Grey and black water is treated onsite and then mixed with rainwater catchment for reuse in landscape gardening and fire hydrant storage. Well water from the resort’s own source is purified with sand filters and reverse osmosis filters before being bottled on site.
