Grace Mykonos is located on the road right above the sandy and protected Agios Stefanos beach 1.5km north of the new port and just a 5-minute drive from the cosmopolitan Chora (Mykonos town) just after Tourlos area.

The charming centre of Mykonos Town is a five-minute drive around the headland in the hotel’s courtesy car and is a hive of activity. Guests can explore the narrow, winding streets, home to numerous shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.

Guests should also be sure to visit the landmark Mykonos Windmills, a quintessential feature of the Mykonian landscape, as well as the many sandy beaches around the island.

Between its museums, historical sites and beautiful beaches, Mykonos is a dream holiday destination. You will soon find there are plenty of activities available, but we have selected the ones that we feel you should not miss.

Must See’s

Delos Island, combined with a visit to the uninhabited islands of Rhenia, where four pristine sandy beaches offer shelter from the buzzing Mykonos beach life.

Little Venice is a romantic and pretty area close to the sea and best known for its quaint, medieval houses. Don’t forget to visit the famous Mykonos windmills, set on a small hill, a short walk away from Little Venice.

Explore the streets of Mykonos town and the church of Paraportiani. Located in the centre of Chora, this church is a visual feast: a cluster of four smaller ones with indiscernible partitions.

“Armenistis Lighthouse”, built in 1891 and still in working order, offers stunning views from the top (accessible by a slightly rickety ladder). If you decide to explore the area, you’ll find plenty of choices at Ano Mera which is at the centre of the island with several tavernas and restaurants.

Agios Stefanos

This lovely, sandy beach is a mere stone’s throw from the hotel. The clean, shallow waters of this natural bay and fine golden sand make it popular among swimmers and sunbathers alike.

Fokos: Removed from the more developed southern stretch of Mykonos, this secluded beach on the island’s wild northern coast is often quiet and calm, even during the high season.

Paradise: Mykonos’s most famous beach, situated on the south coast in between “Super” and “Paranga.”

Psarou: This is the place to be seen amongst the celebrities. Located just south of Mykonos town with plenty of services available, a shopping mall, restaurant, sunbeds and umbrellas.

Kalo Livadi: Located at the lower end of a long open valley, Kalo Livadi is part of a group of southern beaches.

Agios Ioannis and Kapari: Possibly the island’s most beautiful beaches. While located on the southwest coast near Mykonos town, they’re not as easily accessible as the others so have fewer crowds. Both have fine, soft sand, and stellar views of Delos Island.

Agios Sostis: Situated on the dramatic northern coast, Agios Sostis is among the most remote beaches on the island, where to go incognito and far from the madding crowd. There’s only one tavern—while picturesque, don’t expect any electricity.

Things to Do

Apart from its lively cosmopolitan edge with buzzing nightlife, Mykonos offers plenty of sports activities that appeal to both couples and families seeking a more dynamic holiday combination.

The beaches of Kalo Livadi & Platis Gialos, with shallow, clean waters are excellent for swimming and watersports such as waterskiing & wakeboarding. Kite surfing is also available at the Korfos bay, only 2,5 km away from Mykonos town!

Horseback riding tours are organized daily, at the beautiful, secluded beach of Fokos at sunset time! Join a canoe-kayak session at the Mykonian North coastline and paddle around the beaches of Agios Sostis and Panormos Bay!

We strongly recommend organizing a sailing tour at the southern beaches of Mykonos or at the ancient sacred site of the island of Delos, known as the birth place of Apollo and dive into Rhenia’s crystal clear waters!

Restaurants, Bars & Clubs

Mykonos offers one of the best selections of restaurants, cafés and bars of any of the Greek islands. The best place to start the evening is in Chora – Mykonos Town, which offers something for every taste and mood – from Greek to Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, ethnic and more.

Moving on after dinner to bars and cocktail lounges is part of the cosmopolitan scene of the island. The clubs and discos party on into the early hours.

If you decide to explore the area, you’ll find plenty of choices at Ano Mera which is at the centre of the island with several tavernas and restaurants, Ornos just south of Chora on the beach, and Psarou, Paranga, Paradise, Agios Stefanos, all beaches with top class restaurants and clubs.
