We’re lucky to live on the Oregon Coast, where forested cliffs and towering sand dunes meet the Pacific Ocean. Take a bike ride along the coastline, fish in our Nestucca River or navigate along our three capes.

Nestled in Pacific City, alongside Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area, we’re far enough from the beaten path to feel like a true getaway—but still only two hours from Portland International Airport.

Kayaking and paddle boarding are fun and accessible for everyone, and nearby Netarts Bay and Nestucca River are perfect places for both. We’ll make sure you’re geared up for a great day out on the water to relax and reconnect with nature.

HIKING
The Oregon Coast is a hikers paradise. BEACH BONFIRE
Head to the beach for a bonfire under the stars. Take in the sunset and the ocean sounds while you relax with s’mores by the fire. Your memorable evening includes a bonfire built by your Adventure Coach, a handsome Pendleton blanket to take home, fixings for s’mores and beach chairs.

CLAMMING
For a unique experience head out on an iconic Oregon coast clamming trip. Our Adventure Coaches will find the perfect time and location, help you with licensing, set you up with gear and guide you to one of our favorite spots to rake for clams.

TIDE POOLING
Join one of our Adventure Coaches to learn about local tidepools and how to explore them safely. Subject to time and tide, the tidepools emerge to reveal a fascinating, colorful array of nature’s sea creatures. Discover this wonderful marine life that is hidden much of the time underwater.

Headed out? Pick up a Barrel Bag over at the Adventure Center to take with you on your excursion, or join us for one of our scheduled Beach Clean-ups.
