CONSERVATORY SUITE

EXECUTIVE SUITE
This is a suite in which you can mix business with pleasure. THE ENGLISH GRILL
Discover The English Grill, the flagship restaurant of our sister hotel The Rubens at the Palace, just next door. Opulently designed with a rich royal theme of grandeur, The English Grill showcases polished silver, beautiful chandeliers and tailcoat waiters offering traditional service at its most welcoming.

Using the finest English produce and suppliers that serve the Queen’s kitchen, the dining experience is accompanied by an extensive wine list including a fine selection from Bouchard Finlayson, our sister vineyard in South Africa.

We kindly request that you book online. This is the easiest and most efficient way to reserve your table and it displays our most up-to-date offers and availability. We are also able to accommodate requests and make arrangements for special occasions through our online booking system.

Meet Executive Chef Ben Kelliher at our sister hotel The Rubens to learn how they’re reducing food waste in partnership with Winnow’s cutting-edge monitoring technology, and how we use surplus produce creatively in the kitchen.

Chef Ben will also talk about the sustainable and responsible consumption of food, explaining how we work closely with the very best local and responsible suppliers. You will then visit Borough Market together, a historic market dating back to the 12th century with an emphasis on high-quality food and sustainable production.

THE CURRY ROOM
The Curry Room at The Rubens at the Palace, adjacent to Hotel 41, serves an inspired three-course menu created by Chef Arun Kumar. Working closely with Head Chef Kevin Joseph at our sister property, The Oyster Box Hotel in Durban, the menu celebrates authentic flavours made with the finest ingredients and exclusively imported spices from India.

The intimate and supremely comfortable setting of the restaurant incorporates Rajasthani hand embroidery and rich red colours which reflect the vibrant diversity of the dishes.

Mohan and his team will take you on a gourmet journey through the menu, beginning with keema samosa, poppadums, homemade lime pickle, mango chutney and mint raita. A choice of mains includes inspired traditional Indian curries. Complete the experience with a choice of desserts, including Indian influenced Kulfi ice cream.

THE ROOFTOP 
Above London’s skyline, discover a private and intimate rooftop bar, exclusively for our residents. Open in the summer months between 12 and 8pm each day, the famous Zebra Bar is a stunning sun trap with views over London’s rooftops, as far as The London Eye and Hyde Park.

This is a beautiful space to enjoy 41’s signature cocktail list and complimentary treats and snacks. In the warmer months, allow our yoga teacher to guide you through a reflective and meditative session, as the sun sets over the city.

THE LEOPARD BAR
Adjacent to 41 and overlooking the Royal Mews, the intimate Leopard Bar is part of The Rubens at the Palace, our adjoining sister property. Designed in elegant safari-chic, the Leopard Bar has direct street access and outside seating. Serving over 200 whiskies and 30 Champagnes against a backdrop of live jazz music, there’s also a range of enticing cocktails and a light menu.

In addition to the impressive collection of whiskies and Champagnes (all of which are available by the glass, including Cristal and Krug Rosé), the Leopard Bar offers a choice of enticing cocktails, from the classic Champagne Bellini to the more adventurous Buddha Punch.

THE NEW YORK BAR
Renowned for its striking red décor, original artwork and friendly ambiance, The New York Bar at The Rubens at the Palace hotel, just next door, blends traditional hospitality with innovative cocktails, gin tasting experiences and live music.

The talented team, led by Silviu Stan, are passionate about creating a great lounge bar experience through impeccable service, generous hospitality and expert knowledge. There is a delicious bar menu and Express Lunch menu available.

THE BBAR & RESTAURANT
bbar & Restaurant, facing the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, is a wonderful South African themed venue also run by the family-owned Red Carnation Hotel Collection. It is just on your left as you leave reception at Hotel 41.

POPULAR ATTRACTIONS
Within easy walking distance from the Palace, wander down the tree-lined Mall, with lovely St James’s Park on your right and St James’s Palace on your left, and you soon pass through the magnificent Admiralty Arch and into Trafalgar Square.

Turning right takes you down Whitehall, past the Royal Banqueting Hall, the Cenotaph, Downing Street and many of London’s most important government buildings.

WANDER PAST THE PALACE 
After only a few hundred yards the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and the London Eye appear on your left, while directly ahead is Westminster Abbey, where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married.
