We are passionate epicures: Good food & good wine are what we value. And we invite you to enjoy with us! Our kitchen philosophy combines typical Austrian classics with a modern twist. All our dishes are healthy and fresh. In creating our delicious cuisine, we prefer ingredients from the region.

As a family-oriented ski region has received several awards for quality. From big and small beginners to experienced skiers and true piste professionals, skiers of all stripes feel comfortable on our 214 kilometres of slopes.

Grown on sun-kissed slopes, harvested with care & matured in peace: good wine takes craft, knowledge and time to perfect.

Location
Fiss, our home village, is situated on a sunny high plateau at 1400 meters above sea level. Here it’s tranquil, the views are fantastic, and the air is clear. Such characteristics pay off on hot summer days when the temperatures are uncomfortable in the valleys and cities.

Our hotel is optimally situated in a quiet neighbourhood in close proximity to a playground and the idyllic Wolfsee lake. Give your car a quiet holiday in our hotel’s underground car park. Distances from Hotel Bergblick are thankfully short.

The cable cars are accessible in less than 10 minutes via a panoramic walking path. In summer, numerous running and hiking trails start from the hotel and a cross-country skiing trail is also close by.

The Hotel Bergblick is a family affair.
Josef-Anton and Mathilde Pale welcomed their first guests to the “Bergblick” in 1962. So many things were different back then: At that time, our hotel was still a simple bed and breakfast. Over the years, our traditional hotel with the latest comforts has grown, been rebuilt, modernised and revamped.

The Pale family still runs the hotel to this day. In the footsteps of Josef-Anton and Mathilde Pale, their son Anton, a trained cook, and his wife Andrea took over the hotel and continue to run the establishment with much love and an eye for detail. The next generation – Katharina, Daniel and Lukas – are already working closely with us.

The Hotel Bergblick is our home. This is where we grew up, this is where set down roots. With just 41 rooms, our hotel still feels cosy and manageable enough to welcome every guest by name. Guest satisfaction is our vocation. Stay with us and feel our passion.

Suite Bergblick Family
This suite is ideal for a family holiday with the whole gang: There is plenty of space for three children and two adults.

The bedroom with comfortable box spring bed (1.80m x 2.00m) can be separated from the living area by a sliding door: Here the comfy sofa bed invites you to dream. In addition, the suite is equipped with a balcony, two flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, telephone and safe.

Panorama Suite Schmalzkopf
The highlight of this modern suite is the fantastic free view over the whole mountain range up to the Schmalzkopf mountain. In addition, this retreat also scores points with a cosy box spring bed (1.80m x 2.00m), comfortable sofa, a small desk and a panoramic window.

The facilities also include a flat-screen TV, telephone and safe. In the bathroom with bathtub and WC, there’s a hairdryer, cosmetic products and fluffy towels. As an extra service, we provide a personal SPA bathing bag with bath towels, bathrobes and slippers.

Panorama-Suite
This suite is designed in Tirolean style and radiates inviting cosiness thanks to its warm wooden flooring and high-quality wooden furniture. You’ll rest deeply in the comfortable box spring bed (1.80m x 2.00m). Additionally, the sofa in the living room can be converted into a sofa bed or bunk bed for children.

The living room and sleeping area are separated by a sliding door. In addition to a flat-screen TV and balcony, the facilities include a telephone, free Wi-Fi, and a safe.

The spacious bathroom offers a comfortable bathtub or shower, WC, hairdryer, cosmetics and cuddly soft towels. In the room, you will also find your personal SPA bathing bag with bathrobes, slippers and bath towels.

Comfort room
Our comfort room offers plenty of space for you and your loved ones: A comfortable box spring bed (1.80m x 2.00m) for two is complemented by a comfortable sofa that can be turned into a bunk bed in no time at all. A small desk, flat-screen TV, telephone, safe and free Wi-Fi are provided in addition to a balcony.

The bathroom with shower or bathtub and WC provides a wellness atmosphere with fluffy towels, cosmetics and a hairdryer. The SPA bathing bag with bathrobes, slippers and bath towels is also included.

The best of Tirolean cuisine
Traditional kitchen secrets, old recipes, fresh ideas and the best ingredients… At the Hotel Bergblick, we give extra space to gourmet enjoyment. Why? Because at heart, we’re gourmets too. We’re happy to share this love of good food and regional products with you – from breakfast to dinner.

Feel like a king at breakfast
Enjoy crispy rolls, handmade Schwarzbrot bread, spicy cheese, spicy sausage specialities & fine ham. But wait there’s more: savour delicious muesli variations that give you strength for the day, fresh egg dishes, healthy fruits, fragrant coffee and freshly brewed tea.

For the little ones (and of course also for the grown-ups too!), there is also homemade milk cocoa. Sounds like an excellent start to the day!

And now: It’s time for a break!
Our little afternoon snack alleviates the pre-dinner hunger pains in the most enjoyable way possible. For those keen on a small bite to eat before dinner, we offer a small, fine buffet with salads, fresh cake of the day, soups of the day, and Tirolean ‘Marende’ spreads from 2:30 to 5:30 pm.

Four courses full of pleasure
Every evening, our chef Michael Brunner and his team perform their magic. Sit back as we serve four delicious courses with a flick of our wands. We cook traditional and Austrian classics, tried and true dishes, interpreted in a new and modern way.

We love what we prepare
The best ingredients from the region are transformed into modern classics. This is the kind of cooking we adore, and so will you. Agriculture and animal husbandry has a long tradition in Tirol. This work is far from easy. On the contrary: The (high)Alpine landscape presents many unique challenges for farmers.

We believe in the importance of supporting regional producers. Besides, we’re sure that you will taste the difference when food is created with love and respect.

We serve select products from the region, delivering our dishes fresh to the table for your enjoyment. Delicacies are sourced, for instance, from Oberinntaler farms and Alpine pastures.

We run a feel-good kitchen. Why? Because that which chef Michael Brunner and the kitchen team conjure up is down to earth and genuine. These old recipes, traditional Tirolean favourites that have been cooked in this way for decades, will make you feel good.

Our team breathes new life into good old-fashioned cooking, exchanges hearty and heavy food for fresh and healthy ingredients, and brings enjoyment to your plate.

Anton and Andrea Pale, the second generation of the Pale family to manage the Bergblick, have helped to shape this philosophy of enjoyment with honest passion and enthusiasm for good food and excellent wines.

It’s a time out for body and soul: Our wellness area with BergSPA and pool is the best place to think through the day’s adventures.

The opportunity to rest, that’s usually on the to-do list during the holidays. But sometimes it’s not so easy: Too much is going on in life. This is why we invite you to enjoy our BergSPA: Our energy filling station just for you.

In the relaxation room, which is also part of the BergSPA, you can take short breaks between sauna sessions, doze off to soft music and fortify yourself with freshly brewed teas and fruit juices, and healthy & dried fruits.

Our wellness area at the Bergblick is divided into two levels: At the BergSPA for adults and young people ages 15 and up, there is a Finnish and organic sauna in addition to a steam and brine bath and a cabin with gentle infrared heat.

The Swimming Pool
Want to rest & relax after your swim? We know just the place: Our two harmoniously designed relaxation rooms on the second level. Lean back, watch the hustle and bustle outside the window, and let your thoughts wander. For refreshment, there are juices and local apples available for you.

Bathing fun for kids
Children can also splash around to their heart’s content. For those keen on a quick plunge into the warm water before breakfast, the pool is open from 7:30 am (until 8 pm).

The full sauna experience at the Hotel Bergblick
Feel how the heat slowly spreads through the body. Lean back, hold tight. Afterwards, enjoy a well-deserved cooling-off. Notice how the circulation is stimulated.

Every sauna session strengthens your immune system. The interplay of heat and cold is not only healthy, but also wonderfully relaxing. It’s the perfect activity after a long day spent in the great outdoors.

Take a deep breath: Our steam and brine bath is just the place. Relax at a pleasant 40 to 50°C. The Finnish sauna is an absolute wellness classic. 90°C heat and high humidity are the perfect ingredients for strengthening your immune system.

The organic sauna made of local Fiss Swiss stone pine is a gentle variant of the classic Finnish sauna and is particularly suitable for sauna beginners. Temperatures of 45 to 60 °C prevail here.

Massages at the Bergblick
If you’re feeling sore from your last mountain tour or the stress of the last week at work is still in your bones, a professional massage at Hotel Bergblick works wonders.

Hiking, mountaineering & Nordic walking
Here in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis holiday region, there are more than 500 kilometres of well-marked hiking trails to enjoy, many of which are barrier-free and suitable for prams.

These paths lead over blooming Alpine meadows, past small mountain lakes and up to the rugged, high Alpine mountain world above three thousand metres.

Hiking holiday with children
Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offers child-friendly hiking tours and adventure parks on the mountain especially for children. Discover the secrets of Wode the Giant, decipher puzzles along the Pirate’s Trail, and find out what children’s book author and Knickerbocker Gang inventor Thomas Brezina has come up with on the Adventure Mountains.

Mountain Biking & Downhill Riding
What makes our region such a favourite amongst bikers? The well-maintained trails and cycle paths that lead up to 2,600 metres above sea level! Or is it the bike park? Test both and decide for yourself!

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has dedicated itself more and more to becoming THE biking destination in recent years: In addition to a wide network of paths at all levels of difficulty, the bike park near the Waldbahn cable car is particularly beloved.

A wide variety of downhill routes for beginners, advanced and real bike pros has been created here. There is even a separate kids park and a training area with pump track and slopestyle.

Tennis, high ropes course and rafting
Will a single summer holiday in Fiss really be enough to fully experience the entire region? We are not so sure about that, but it’s definitely a good start. Biking, hiking or climbing: What do you like to do?

Tennis aces and all those training to become one are welcome to enjoy an exciting match at the well-kept clay courts in Fiss. The region boasts five different top golf courses as well as superlative views each time you tee off.

The X-Tree-Funzone is all about adrenalin and action in the mountains. At a height of up to 14 metres, prove your courage at the high ropes course.

Those who prefer to climb on the rock faces instead can hire an expert climbing partner amongst the many climbing guides at the Alpinschule Fiss-Ladis. These pros will recommend suitable routes and join you on your adventure.

In Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the mountains are like a magical playground for children keen on adventure. Throughout the entire holiday region, there are numerous well-thought-out adventure parks for the little ones to discover. We promise: Even adults will enjoy themselves.

Hello, Winter! We missed you.
From the moment the first flakes of snowfall, the atmosphere at the hotel noticeably changes: We all get that tingling in our stomachs in excited anticipation. Winter is here – and with it the prospect of months of long ski days, romantic winter walks, and tobogganing fun. Yay!

We know exactly what awaits us – and you – in the coming months. The joy of the first downhill run of the season on perfectly groomed slopes after a long summer break. Light powder snow up to your knees. Spring skiing, the perfect combination of sunbathing and Firn-snow skiing. Are your skis ready yet?

At the Hotel Bergblick, we have set ourselves the following goal: Your skiing holiday with us should be completely relaxed. What does that mean? No rush, no unnecessary queuing, no hauling heavy skis.

The best family ski region in the world
Our ski resort region is one of the very best family ski regions in the world and has received several awards.

A total of 214 kilometres of pistes and ultra-modern infrastructure with a total of 68 lifts and cable cars not only offers families plenty of variety, but also plenty of thrills for pleasure skiers, athletes and true professionals on skis and snowboard.

A ski resort like no other
The ski resort in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis extends up to 2,820 metres. Small wonder that this region at the foot of the Samnaun group offers secure snowy conditions well into spring.

The ski resort is wonderfully versatile: Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis boasts 47 kilometres of blue pistes for beginners, 123 kilometres of red medium-difficulty pistes, and 28 kilometres of black runs for experienced skiers.

In addition, there are numerous marked routes that lead into backcountry areas. Thanks to the region’s 68 comfortable cable cars, float from the village to the summit and onward to the best downhill slopes.

The Skischule Fiss-Ladis ski school
Here, children are guided by professional supervisors and trained ski instructors from the Skischule Fiss-Ladis ski school.

And speaking of first experiences in the snow: The Skischule Fiss-Ladis ski school of course offers private and group courses for adults and teenagers. The experts in winter sports are looking forward to showing you tips and tricks.

Active winter holidays in Fiss
Skiing and winter holidays belong together like peanut butter and jelly. Nevertheless, there’s plenty to discover in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region beyond the ski slopes. So get out there and explore!

With all its scenic beauty, our home region is a great place to for shoeshoe adventures. Far away from the slopes and ski runs, you will set out to experience winter from a different perspective. The Skischule Fiss-Ladis ski school also offers guided hikes.

The entrance to the large cross-country ski trail network of the region is nearby the Hotel Bergblick. Here you can access perfectly groomed trails for classic cross-country skiers or skaters. By the way – practice makes perfect!

Tobogganing on the new track from Steinegg to Fiss is an exciting excursion for the entire family. Without a doubt, a traditional tobogganing evening with delicious fondue meal at the Möseralm mountain hut is a can’t-miss experience.

Or how about something completely different? Why not try Segway trekking with guided tours around the plateau or on the 6000-m2 course?

Winter hiking
Even on hot summer days, hiking is one of our favourite activities – so why stop in winter? After all, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis offers numerous well-marked and cleared winter hiking trails. The 1.5-hour panoramic trail offers countless views of nearby summits and breathtaking nature. What a view!

Your favourite days in winter
In our opinion, every day on holiday in Fiss is a good day. But there are certainly highlights that turn a good day into an excellent one.

The Crystal Cube is THE address for a gourmet experience of a special kind: Here, at 2,600 metres above sea level, finely created dishes from all over the world are served at high altitude. Added to this is the spectacular 360-degree view from the all glass cube and you’ll enjoy an experience you won’t soon forget!

A horse-drawn carriage ride through the snow-covered landscape is a unique experience: Wrapped in soft, warm blankets, watch the winter landscape go by and enjoy the moment with your loved ones.

Early in the morning every Tuesday, the Masner Express will transport you to the Hexensee mountain hut. There you can enjoy an unforgettable sunrise in the mountains and a fortifying mountain breakfast. Please register at reception.

First tracks
The allure of carving the first tracks into any piste is clear. You’ll rise early and take the very first gondola to the summit together with a small group at 7:30 am.

Once up top, carve your tracks into the pristine slopes spread out before you. After a few powerful descents, it’s time for breakfast at the Zirbenhütte or the Ski Lounge. What a way to start the day!
