Nestled in almost three hectares of gardens overlooking the bay of Porto Vecchio, Casadelmar boasts a dream location by the sea, minutes from the town centre and the most beautiful beaches of southern Corsica.

The resort is the result of a successful collaboration between its owner and the architect Jean-François Bodin. The minimalist wood and glass architecture, understated decor and spectacular views throughout create a serene atmosphere for a truly relaxing stay.

The 34 elegant rooms and suites and luxurious private villa all have magnificent terraces with panoramic sea views. The water of the 25m outdoor pool blends into the deep blue waters of the Gulf of Porto Vecchio.

Designed by renowned landscape architect Jean Mus, the Mediterranean gardens are like a precious jewellery box that provides the setting for a constant dialogue between flora and fauna.

Ancient olive trees, Florence cypresses, umbrella pines, rockroses, myrtle bushes and everlasting flowers line the paths as guests stroll through the gardens, moving between light and shade. At the 2-Michelin starred gourmet restaurant Le Casadelmar, Italian chef Fabio Bragagnolo prepares simple dishes infused with the flavours of the Mediterranean.

Spa Casadelmar is a luxurious cocoon where guests relax and enjoy a wide range of natural treatments and traditional therapies based on the rituals developed by British skincare and spa specialists ESPA.

PRIVATE VILLA WITH POOL
Hidden in the gardens, the private villa overlooks the bay and offers complete privacy. Like the hotel, its contemporary design is in perfect harmony with the natural surroundings. The villa boasts three elegant suites:

  • On the ground floor: one 120m2 suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a 150m2 terrace and an 18m private heated pool
  • On the first floor: one 75m2 suite with a 20m2 terrace and one 61m2 suite with a 20m2 terrace

GOURMET RESTAURANT
At Casadelmar’s 2-Michelin starred gourmet restaurant, Italian chef Fabio Bragagnolo prepares simple Mediterranean cuisine that enhances the ingredients by creating subtle, harmonious flavour combinations.

The menu reflects his light, contemporary style of cooking, enriched by the different spices, textures and sauces he continually invents. Exotic accents produce unusual contrasts, but the results are always balanced.

GRILL & LOUNGE RESTAURANT
Set under wistera-covered pergolas and on a large panoramic terrace with spectacular views of the bay, the Grill and Lounge Restaurants offer a delicious menu accented with exotic flavours. Choose from pasta dishes, salads, plates of fine Italian cured meats, fish tartares or magnificent assortments of sushi.

THE CHEF – FABIO BRAGAGNOLO
Fabio Bragagnolo is dedicated to preparing gourmet dishes that reflect the spirit of the hotel and live up to Casadelmar’s incomparable natural surroundings. A baker’s son born in northern Italy, he has been passionate about cooking ever since he was a young boy.

After working in a number of top international restaurants, he arrived in France in 1999 to take up the position of sous-chef at Carpaccio in the Royal Monceau in Paris, which he believes is the gastronomic capital of the world. He then moved to Porto Vecchio, Corsica, to open the Casadelmar restaurant, where he was deputy executive chef for eight years.

Hard-working and modest, with a sophisticated sense of taste and an expert’s flair for creativity, he was the natural choice to take over as head chef in 2014. Since then he has won two Michelin stars in recognition of his exceptional talent and savoir-faire.

PASTRY CHEF CLAUDIO PEZZETTI
Originally from Padua, Italy, Claudio Pezzetti joined Casadelmar when it opened, and his career as pastry chef has developed with the restaurant. The creations he has produced over the years demonstrate a perfect mastery of his art.

Like his close colleague Fabio Bragagnolo, Claudio focuses on Mediterranean ingredients such as brocciu and mascarpone cheese, or amaretto and limoncello liqueurs, to create sensationally light and elegant desserts, including passion fruit soufflé with Tahitian vanilla, Granny Smith apple sphere, and chocolate medley.

SPA ESPA
Decorated with dark wood, Japanese fabric and Medici marble, Casadelmar’s Spa & Wellness was designed as a calming retreat from the exuberant natural surroundings and sunlit world outside, a luxurious cocoon where guests can relax and unwind.

The spa offers a wide range of natural treatments and traditional therapies based on the rituals developed by British skincare and spa specialists ESPA, which provide long-lasting physical and emotional benefits.

ESPA products are carefully created with meticulous attention to textures and fragrances, and combine active ingredients (essential oils, marine extracts and botanicals) derived from natural sources. Treatments are tailored to the specific needs of guests.

The spa also offers a special treatment made with essential oils from Corsican shrubs grown in Casadelmar’s own herb garden, such as everlasting flowers, lavender, sage, rosemary and thyme depending on the season.

The fitness centre boasts magnificent views of the Gulf of Porto Vecchio and offers state-of-the-art equipment. A personal coach is available for custom private sessions on request.

MEETINGS, INCENTIVES, WEDDINGS
Located less than two hours from Europe’s major cities, in the heart of the Mare Nostrum region with its pristine beaches, mountains and rivers, Casadelmar is the perfect choice for professional or private events.

Casadelmar can be completely privatised for meetings, incentives, weddings and anniversaries and offers a fully equipped work area with panoramic views of the Gulf of Porto Vecchio. Our Concierge service is also available to organise complementary activities for your guests.

LA PLAGE CASADELMAR
La plage Casadelmar is nestled at the end of the Benedettu peninsula. Lined with pine trees and red rocks, the fine sandy beach overlooks the Gulf of Porto Vecchio. Chill Out beds await you on the sandy beach, inviting you to relax.

A few steps away, small, secret coves of crystal clear water are waiting to be discovered. Here, the key word is silence…while in the distance, Porto Vecchio, the “city of salt”, beckons.

PALOMBAGGIA BEACH
Watercolour blue outlined by porphyry rose…white dunes in the distance, shaded by umbrella pines. This wonderful beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. Its deep waters are also a paradise for children. Palombaggia offers magnificent views of the Cerbicale isles.

These five spartan, windswept islands are a haven for birds, and classed as a nature reserve. This unspoilt natural beauty sweeps all the way south to the Cap d’Acciaghju.

BAY OF SANTA GIULIA
Located to the south of the Gulf of Porto Vecchio, the Bay of Santa Giulia is quite simply heaven on earth. With its beautiful lagoon at the foot of a mountain and miles of fine white sand, this is one of the most famous beaches in southern Corsica. It is also one of the region’s most dynamic watersports hubs, offering a wide range of activities. A beach that offers everything.

SAINT CYPRIEN BEACH
The town of Lecci is rightly proud of this small bay, which boasts a magnificent beach bordered by Arasu lake.A Genoese tower overlooks the site, and numerous remains have been discovered near the mouth of the Osu.

White sand, turquoise water and red rocks: a palette of eye-dazzling colours. The beach is suitable for children because of the gently sloping sea bed. It is also a base for several watersports outfitters, who offer water skiing, sailing, jet skiing and other activities.

RONDINARA BEACH
Located halfway between Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio, the shell-shaped Bay of Rondinara is a delight for boaters, who come to enjoy the superb mooring facilities and magical beach. Like the other beaches, it is a popular destination in the summer.

PINARELLO BEACH
The Gulf of Pinarello in Sainte Lucie de Porto-Vecchio has long white sandy beaches lined with forests of pine trees. This peaceful, family-friendly spot offers a range of food, drink and watersports options.

The small bustling port welcomes boaters who moor here to take in the lovely atmosphere and visit the ice cream vendors. The island of Ruscana off the coast of Pinarello is known for its tower, which housed a Genoese garrison in the 16th century.
