In all seasons Positano and the Amalfi coast will offer a magical and romantic atmosphere. The Hotel was born in the 1949 by Giovanni Cappiello, it was an ancient Villa in Positano. Nowadays the owners are his progenies.
In 2020 the hotel was remodeled preserving the baroque style. All the areas are very bright and decorated with hand painted majolica by master craftsmen of Positano. After a pleasant day spent on the beach or walking among Positano’s characteristic shops, you can retire to your comfortable room overlooking the sea.
The mini-pool jacuzzi on the terrace will be the perfect place where you can relax. And at night you can enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner at our restaurant overlooking the bay.
Positano, with its central location on the Amalfi Coast, is a perfect departure point for several pleasant excursions to many beautiful places in Campania Region. The steps that lead to the hotel, characteristic of the place, are a small price to pay to enjoy a magnificent view.
ROOMS & SUITES
All with sea view nicely furnished with Vietri tiles. All the 42 rooms of the Hotel Conca d’Oro are very comfortable and offer a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. Rooms very bright, elegant and nicely furnished with Vietri tiles and Mediterranean colors, typical of the Amalfi coast.
These rooms come in standard, superior, deluxe and suite, for all our guests needs. The bathrooms are enriched with hand painted tiles and italian marble. They have bath or shower, hairdryer and toiletries.
Superior and Deluxe rooms have hydromassage bath or shower, air conditioning and balcony with a splendid sea view.
The charming Suite room is located on the higher floor of the hotel. It is the perfect place for honeymooners or special occasions. It comprises a larger and elegant room with JACUZZI® bath in the bedroom and a very big terrace with a breathtaking panoramic view. Furniture is in Barocco style.
Studio It newly renovated in light and warm colors. It is an apartment very cozy and bright. The white of the furniture matches perfectly with the ceramic parquet floors. The beautiful and spacious bathroom has a bathtub and shower.
The kitchen is fully equipped and it’s an open plan with the living room, separated by an arch, typical of the area. The open staircase leads to the upper floor where the bedroom can accommodate 2 or 3 people. The roof, a little solarium terrace, enjoy a breathtaking view.
VILLA PRINCIPE GIOVANNI
Villa Principe Giovanni is an enchanting Villa located in the historical center of Positano. It’s the perfect place for anyone seeking a tranquility journey and natural landscapes. The warm tones of the bougainvillea and the relaxing green of the vegetation are the frame of the immense blue of the sea.
The entrance to the Villa has an elegant patio surrounded by the beautiful colour of flowers. The marble and majolica stairs takes you to the top floor. The smart deluxe rooms are the ideal place for a romantic escape.
All the rooms are recently redecorated in Mediterranean style, they each have balcony or terrace with a splendid view over the bay of Positano. The bathrooms have hand painted majolica and italian marble and they bathtub or shower hydromassage, mirror, hairdryer and toiletries.
ORAMA SEAVIEW RESTAURANT
The restaurant Conca d’Oro (open from April to October) boasts breathless views on Positano bay. You can enjoy candle-lit dinner over-looking the sea. Our cuisine is inspired from a Mediterranean tradition typical of the Amalfi Coast, and is based on the quality of local ingredients.
We will offer you a wide selection of regional and national wines too. Our hotel bar with panoramic view on Positano offers a wide range of cocktails and light refreshments and 24-hour room service including local specialties.
SOLARIUM
The solarium terrace and the JACUZZI® overlooks on Positano and offers a pleasant and relaxing time. With the magic of the moonlight, the atmosphere on the terrace becomes a romantic location with an enchanted panorama.
