The Hotel Corallo, located in the town of Sant’Agnello, is a 4 star hotel situated on a clifftop with panoramic terraces and views of the Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius and the Sorrentine peninsula.

The centre of Sorrento and Tasso Square with its characteristic alleys, is just 2 km away and can be reached on foot or by public transport. In 1910 this elegant patrician house became “Hotel Cappuccini”, a meeting point for artists and intellectuals such as the great Luigi Pirandello, who stayed here in the 1930’s.

THE SUITE
The Suite is the most prestigious room in the hotel, romantic and comfortable comprising living room and bedroom with a total of 60 sqm. It has a balcony and terrace of 20 sqm with sun loungers affording breathtaking sea views over the gulf of Naples.

The bathroom is decorated in with ceramics from Vietri and is equipped with a hydromassage bathtub overlooking the sea, hair dryer, bathrobes, slippers and specially sourced toiletries. On request we can arrange candlelit dinners on the private terrace of your room.

THE EXECUTIVE ROOM
Three executive rooms of approximately 25 sqm are elegant, bright and have spacious terraces with sun loungers overlooking the enchanting Gulf of Naples and Sorrento. They are available with a double bed or two single beds.

ROOMS
The Hotel Corallo is a historic hotel from the early 1900’s overlooking the sea. Thanks to its particular structure it is able to offer a variety of rooms all different in their genre. Extensively renovated in 2013, all the rooms are equipped with all the comforts necessary to meet the needs of our customers.

The rooms are classified as follows: Standard (window with view of the interior), Classic (sea-view window front or side), Superior and Deluxe (balcony with sea view), Executive and Suite (panoramic terrace with sea view).

Each room is characterised with furniture created by Sorrentine craftsmen, custom made curtains and bathrooms decorated with the renowned maiolica from Vietri.

THE SUPERIOR ROOM
The Superior rooms are approximately 20 sqm and are elegant and bright. These are equipped with a balcony with two chairs and a small table and again have sea views of the Gulf of Naples.

DISCOVER CAPRI BY BOAT
Few places in the world have a fantasy of myth and nature as Capri. A pleasant boat trip along the coast of Sorrento will take you to the island; here you can freely explore and discover Capri, walking aimlessly in the alleys of the center, reliving ancient times among the archaeological finds of Villa Jovis and a hike to Monte Solaro.

And then the wonderful view by boat around the island, after the Salto di Tiberio you see the Faraglioni: it is said that all couples exchanging a kiss under the arch will stay together forever! Numerous fascinating caves, including the Green Grotto, named for the emerald water reflections.

Among other destinations recommended are the Punta Carena Lighthouse, the second largest in Italy, and the Natural Arch. Planned, several stops for swimming.
Port of Marina Grande with a stop of 3 hours to explore the island of Capri. Back to Sorrento in the late afternoon.

AMALFI COAST EXPERIENCES
Pick-up from Sorrento area and transfer by minibus to the world famous Amalfi Drive. Stop along the drive in order to get some photos.

First stop will be Positano. Thanks to its unique architecture, the town is considered today one of the most beautiful stretches of our coastline (1 hr of free time).
Continuing through the wonderful villages of Praiano, Furore and Conca dei Marini, we’ll stop in Amalfi for 2 hours.

Free time at your disposal to discover the history of this ancient Maritime Republic. Last stop will be Ravello. 1 hour of free time to explore the little village located just above Amalfi. Return to Sorrento in the afternoon.

DISCOVER AMALFI & POSITANO BY BOAT 
Pick up from Sorrento and transfer to the port of Piano di Sorrento. Boarding and coast along the Amalfi Coast along the Sorrento Peninsula, with free time to swim and snorkel.

Upon arrival in Positano, we will stop for about an hour and a half to explore the pearl of the Amalfi Coast. Amalfi with a stop of 1h.30m of free time to visit the ancient Maritime Republic. Return to Sorrento in the late afternoon.

POMPEII & VESUVIUS
Pick-up from the assigned Meeting Point and transfer to Pompeii; by the entrance, you’ll meet the guide and will spend consequently 2 hours walking through the alleys of the historical town. After the visit, free time for lunch.

In the early afternoon, we’ll move to Mt. Vesuvius. The bus will ride us up to 1000 meters high and from that point will continue with a 30 minutes walk.

Once on the rim, you’ll meet an alpine guide that will give you information about the history of the crater, you’ll then have some free time to enjoy the breathtaking view of the entire Gulf of Naples. Return to Sorrento in the afternoon.

HERCULANEUM HALF DAY
Departure from Sorrento, by bus to Herculaneum, an ancient Roman town situated in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, submerged under a torrent of mud and lava after the Vesuvius eruption in 79 A.D.

The buildings have been so well preserved that you can walk down the streets pretty much exactly as the Romans would have done over 2000 years ago! There are still original timbers in the buildings and clay pots stored as they would have been at the time of the eruption.

It was believed that many of the inhabitants of the town managed to successfully flee unlike those not so fortunate in Pompeii. Together with your guide, you’ll visit in 2-hours many of the most important sites, public baths with their well-preserved frescoes and mosaics, shop and the gymnasium.

SUNSET BOAT EXCURSION
Pick-up from Sorrento and transfer to the port of Piano di Sorrento. Enjoy a breathtaking 2-hour sunset view from the boat as you watch the sunset over the Sorrento Peninsula skyline. Discover beautiful less-known spots such as Cala Puolo, a small fishing village with traditional restaurants along the beach.

Enjoy a cocktail at sunset with appetizer admiring the picturesque fishing village, and the Marine Park, with views of Capri, before to return to Sorrento. Return to the port of Piano di Sorrento and transfer back to the Hotel

PATH OF GODS
Pick-up from assigned meeting point and transfer to Agerola. Together with your Hiking Guide climb up the ancient path that used to connect Bomerano (Agerola) to Nocelle (Positano), also known as “Path of the Gods”.

Named after the beauties that characterize its views, this trail is considered today one of the most beautiful hiking trails of the world, and it stretches along several villages of the famous Amalfi Drive with its 10 KM.

Along the path, it’s still possible to admire remains of ancient farmhouses and meet local shepherds carrying with their mule wood or milk to the underlying towns. Return to Sorrento.

THE TYPICAL FLAVOURS
If you want to spend an amazing day in the hills of Sorrento discovering the fruit of our land you can’t miss this excursion! In the morning our driver will lead you to Schiazzano, a rural and small town near the city of Massa Lubrense surrounded by greenery.

During the day you will visit a characteristic farm with its wonderful lemon, orange and olive groves and where the owner will be pleased to show you all the cultivation and production techniques handed down from father to son; you will taste extra virgin oil, limoncello and different flavoured oils.

The day continues with the discovery of one of our gastronomic treasure, you will see all the production phases of Mozzarella and Provolone del Monaco D.O.P. and taste this home made products in different kinds (fior di latte, caciotta, ricotta…) produced according the “KM 0” philosophy.

The last step will be a traditional pizzeria in the hearth of the country. You will attend the demonstration of the preparation of this delight and will eat our special Pizza Margherita. The return is expected in the afternoon.
