LOCATION
Jerzens, a village with approx. 1,000 residents and covering 30km², is located on the “sun terrace” of Pitztal. Districts of Jerzens are Liss (1,450m above sea level), Kaitanger (1,450m), Schwaig, Larchwies, Haag, Breitwies, Egg, Falsterwies, Kienberg, Stein, Graslehn, Schönlarch, Schön, Wiesle and Ritzenried.
Through the consistent and careful growth of the Hochzeiger ski resort Jerzens developed into a modern holiday destination for both winter and summer. Jerzens has more than 100 km of marked hiking routes from 1100m to 2500m. Jerzens is located on an sun plateau in the middle of the Pitztal and is a perfect starting point for numbers of hiking tours and trips.
Various south-facing pistes with long hours of sunshine, combined with high snow probability, a 6km long illuminated natural toboggan run (opened on Thursday), excellent food outlets and Après Ski facilities are the highlights of the village in winter. Especially on snowy days, a stroll through the winter wonderland of Jerzens leaves a lasting impression on any visitor.
