SUITE PARADISIN
The Suite Paradisin is named for the glacier it looks out on. It’s our most special room, with a magnificent view of the valley and excellent exposure. There is a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, equipped with a dormer window to illuminate the room with natural light, a double room with bath and a living room with convertible couch and chaise lounge.

The suite is suitable for a maximum of six people. The bathroom is equipped with all the comforts, including a full complementary gift kit. Wi-fi connection is also available. The ideal vacation suite, for a couple or a larger family.

PRESTIGE
The Prestige rooms sleep a maximum of five people. The lovely loggia can be used for sunbathing all day long. More spacious than the Deluxe rooms, it guarantees maximum comfort. The convertible couch in the luminous living room sleeps two. The bathroom flaunts beautiful slate countertops, set off by the white walls in enameled stone tile.

We only use products that come from Livigno or the Valtellina valley: fresh milk from the surrounding alpine pastures, yoghurt and cheese from the local dairy, meat, fruit and vegetables from local farmers and, last but not least, the sausage specialities of our brother, Paolo Giacomelli, which he prepares on his farm “La Tresenda” according to our grandfather’s secret recipe and which he allows to mature in the pure mountain air.

After an eventful day in nature, we invite you to dinner in our herb hotel from 7.00 to 9.00 p.m. in winter and from 7.30 to 9.00 p.m. in summer. APRÈS-SKI IN LIVIGNO
Après-ski in Livigno is as much a part of winter as skiing, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. At the valley stations and along the main road close to our hotel in Livigno you will find numerous pubs, bars, and restaurants for a break after an exciting day on and off the slopes.

Shopping in Livigno, is a very special treat because the small mountain village has been a duty-free zone since 1805 – much to the delight of the smugglers who resold cheap goods at expensive prices in Switzerland in the 1950s.

Smugglers no longer exist today, but there are numerous holidaymakers who enjoy the low prices. Livigno has been a popular tax-free shopping paradise for decades.

The tranquil mountain village has nevertheless retained its original character. Instead of artificial shopping malls, flagship stores, shops, and boutiques are housed in the old traditional stone houses that line the one kilometre long shopping street.

HOLIDAY INSPIRATION
Unspoilt nature plays the leading role in the Valtellina valley. The Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio which was founded in 1935 is not far from our hotel in Livigno. With a total area of 130,700 hectares, it is the largest national park in the Alps.

In the middle of it, the mighty Ortles-Cevedale massif rises with its impressive glaciers. Numerous animals live in this unique nature reserve, some of which are threatened with extinction. With a bit of luck you can discover foxes, marmots, deer, roe deer, chamois, and ibex, but also golden eagles, hawks or bearded vultures that conquer the air.

If you are looking for action during your holiday, you will find it in the Larix Park climbing garden or at the Aquagranda – Active you! leisure centre. Another highlight for real water fans is beautiful Lake Livigno, where you can go rowing, canoeing, and kayaking as well as stand-up paddling or fishing.

In winter you can expect more adventures with snow biking, on the toboggan or snow tubing run, on the ice tower of Livigno, or a sledge ride with huskies. Are you interested in history? Then we recommend a visit to the Forte di Oga, a fortress from the First World War, to the Museum of Livigno, or the Civic Museum of Bormio.

Talking of Bormio: This elegant city is also known as “Magnifica Terra” where the Romans once relaxed in its soothing thermal water. Still today the charming historical centre with its churches, towers, and mansions gives testimony to the former grandeur of the local nobility.
