In summer and winter, Seefeld is a true recreational paradise with 650 km of marked hiking trails, 570 km of biking trails, 245 km of perfectly groomed cross-country ski trails and 37 kilometres of ski slopes. In addition, you can enjoy numerous other exciting activities from swimming in the midst of picturesque nature to golfing and winter tobogganing.

THE BREAKFAST
Breakfast is probably the most important meal of the day, after all you need to fortify yourself for your adventures in and around Seefeld. Our breakfast buffet is ready for you between 7:30 and 10:30 am in the panorama restaurant. Try your way through our wide selection of different delicacies from sweet to savoury – we have something for everyone.

Some of the many delicacies of our buffet are: selected, regional products from our partners in Seefeld and the surrounding area, dairy products, honey, jam, muesli, yoghurt, fruit, ham, cheese, vegetables, fresh egg dishes from our live cooking station, fresh breads and pastries with various hams, cheeses and vegetables.

THE LUNCH
With the half-board arrangement, you can enjoy crisp salads with homemade dressings, our soup of the day, fresh bread and various starters from 13:00 to 14:00. Let yourself be surprised by the daily changing delicacies, which are of course always freshly prepared for you from regional ingredients.

Your desire for sweets will not be neglected either. Between 16:00 and 17:00 p.m. you can help yourself to our varied selection of cakes – bite after bite a real treat for the palate.

TEXTILE SAUNA
You don’t feel comfortable in the classic sauna? Then our textile sauna is the ideal alternative for you. Here you enjoy all the health benefits of a conventional sauna experience with the only difference that you sweat in swimwear. The temperatures in this form of sauna are a pleasant 60 °C.

FINNISH SAUNA
At 90 to 100° C, the Finnish sauna is not only the most traditional form of sauna, but also the hottest of its kind. The heat source is typically a stone stove onto which water is poured. Sweating together in a room lined with solid wood has its origins as far back as the Stone Age and it is not for nothing that it has prevailed to this day.

BIO SAUNA
Sauna in a gentle way. Our 45 °C sauna with its milder temperatures is a light version of the classic Finnish sauna. Although you will still work up a good sweat, this form of sauna is gentle on the circulation and is therefore recommended for sauna beginners as well as people with cardiovascular problems.

ICE FOUNTAIN
The ice bath after a sauna session stimulates blood circulation and strengthens your immune system through the rapid, immediate cooling of the body. Take a handful of flake ice from our ice fountain, rub it on and enjoy the cooling and invigorating effect on your skin after sweating.

STEAM SAUNA
In the steam bath, mild temperatures with high humidity encourage you to sweat. If you are not a fan of too high temperatures, the steam bath with its 50° C is just right for you. The steam pleasantly cleanses your pores, stimulates your circulation and strengthens your body’s defences.

PASSAGE OF ICE
<p>In addition to our saunas and baths, you will also find showers and a pleasantly cool ice mist on the ground floor, which provide welcome refreshment after sweating. A wonderful alternative to the classic cold pool.

CLIMBING
For climbers, the Seefeld region offers a wide range of via ferratas and climbing gardens. Whether simple climbing routes for families or professional sport climbing, climbing fun and variety are guaranteed. The particularly large selection of climbing opportunities attracts beginners as well as top athletes on tours in the Tyrolean mountains.

The Panorama via ferrata, newly opened in 2021, leads past impressive views to the Seefelder Spitze. In total, you cover a difference in altitude of 260 metres in about 1.5 hours on the via ferrata of difficulty C. The ascent is rewarded with a unique panoramic view of the entire region, from the Zugspitze to the Karwendel mountains.

HIKING
Fill up on unique nature experiences while hiking in the Wildmoos and Wetterstein Mountains nature reserve and in the Karwendel Nature Park. Your hiking holiday begins right outside the front door of the Lärchenhof.

Hike, unique in the Alpine region, along flat wide promenades across the beautiful Seefeld high plateau or explore the landscape on various themed and adventure hikes.

As a trained mountain hiking guide, he adapts his tours to the needs and condition of the hiking group and thus creates unforgettable hiking experiences for beginners as well as for summit strikers. On top of that, there are many insider tips and stories about the region.

ROLLER SKI TRACK & SUMMER BIATHLON 
A 3.6 km long and 3 m wide roller ski track gives you the unique opportunity to practise Nordic sports in summer, even when there is no snow.

At the Nordic Competence Centre in Seefeld you will not only find the roller ski track, which can be varied in length and altitude profiles as desired, but also a modern biathlon facility. In addition to professional and endurance athletes, amateur athletes as well as beginners and children get their money’s worth here.

The entrance to the roller ski trail is located in the Casino Arena Seefeld. The course runs through the idyllic Möserertal valley. Roller skiing and biathlon courses can be booked at the Cross Country Academy and roller skis can be rented at Sport Norz.

GOLF HOLIDAY IN SEEFELD

In the 27-hole Mieminger Plateau Golf Park you will find the perfect golf offer for every skill level in the midst of breathtaking nature. The 18-hole Championcourse convinces with wide holes, a course length of 6,599 m and 4 different tees per hole, so every player can choose a level of difficulty.

The 9-hole Parkcourse is a little shorter and smaller – perfect for a fine, quick practice round. Explore the unique ambience with unforgettable panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

The Innsbruck-Igls Golf Club offers two golf courses with a special touch, Lans and Rinn. Rinn is an 18-hole championship golf course – a sporting challenge with a unique panorama.

The 9-hole golf course in Lans, laid out in a park-like, only slightly hilly landscape, can be played through in a good 1 1/2 hours at normal frequency and is often deceptive with its seemingly easy fairway.

MOUNTAIN BIKE & E-BIKE
Over 570 km of cycle paths in all degrees of difficulty make the Seefeld high plateau a popular biking paradise for cyclists, e-bikers and mountain bikers.

Countless cycle paths, mountain bike trails and routes stretching across the entire high plateau and up to lofty heights are available to choose from. If you don’t have your own bike or mountain bike with you on holiday, the many bike rental points in Tyrol give you the option of renting a bike.

As another biking option, you can take part in guided tours with experienced mountain professionals. The Lärchenhof reception team will be happy to help you plan your personal tour of Seefeld’s surroundings.

The Seefeld e-bike region offers a comprehensive trail concept from beginner to advanced. For safety on the bike, you can train on the modern practice course at the Seekirchl. On your tours through the region, numerous charging and rental stations are of course guaranteed.

WINTER ACTIVITIES IN SEEFELD

SKIING
Situated at one of the highest points of the Seefeld plateau and surrounded by unique nature and grandiose mountains, the Natur & Spa Hotel Lärchenhof is your perfect starting point for a skiing holiday with the whole family.

37 varied kilometres of pistes and 34 modern lifts offer skiing pleasure for young and old – for beginners and ambitious skiers. Due to the special geographical location of the high plateau, guaranteed snow and many hours of sunshine are guaranteed.

If you still need some help, you will find a variety of ski and snowboard schools in the Seefeld region that offer different courses for children, beginners, professionals and returning skiers. This way you can not only learn to ski or perfect your skills, but also experience more of the beautiful Tyrolean landscape at the same time.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING
The Seefeld high plateau at an altitude of 1,200 metres offers the best conditions and snow guarantee for Nordic winter sports fun. Über 271 Kilometer Loipen, ausgezeichnet mit dem Tiroler Loipengütesiegel führen durch eine traumhaft schöne Winterlandschaft.

The cross-country skiing network on the high plateau, which connects the five main towns of Seefeld, Mösern, Leutasch, Reith and Scharnitz, offers classic and skating-style trails as well as special trails such as night trails, a dog trail and a trail suitable for cross-country sledding.

Seefeld offers a Nordic centre of excellence with one of the most modern biathlon facilities in Europe. Seefeld has been an Olympic venue for Nordic competitions three times so far, in 1964, 1976 and 2012, and in 2019 Seefeld hosted the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships for the second time after 1985.

On site you have the possibility of receiving a free cross-country skiing ticket. With this you can use the cross-country skiing trails of the Seefeld region for the duration of your stay. Discover the Seefeld region in Tyrol and one of the most beautiful and exciting cross-country skiing regions in Austria.

The Nordic Competence Centre in Seefeld, which was built in 1985 and has been constantly renovated since then, has been inspiring professional and amateur athletes alike for decades.

Equipped with a modern biathlon facility with 12 fixed stands for small bore and air pressure and together with the snow-sure Seefeld cross-country ski trails, perfect conditions for extensive biathlon training are guaranteed here.

Thanks to a 3.6 km long and 3 m wide roller track, another highlight in the alpine area, it is also possible to pursue biathlon training in summer. The roller track can be extended in length and altitude metres as desired and can be completed in various degrees of difficulty. The roller track is also ideal for sprint training for cross-country skiers.

WINTER HIKING
The landscape around the Lärchenhof not only spoils you with wonderful opportunities to spend time in nature in summer. Hiking is also very popular in winter. Hike on cleared winter hiking trails or with snowshoes under your feet.

Hardly any other time of the year holds as many romantic moments as winter, to recharge your batteries for body and soul in the silence of nature. 142 kilometres of cleared winter hiking trails in the valley and on the mountain offer ideal conditions to enjoy the winter splendour in a partly still untouched winter landscape.

Many cosy huts invite you to rest and taste the Tyrolean hut delicacies. Our hiking guide Andreas also explores the surroundings with you on guided snowshoe hikes. You can rent the shoes for your snowshoe hikes free of charge at our hotel.

TOBOGGANING
Numerous natural toboggan runs in the Seefeld region invite you to toboggan, a special winter experience for young and old. If you don’t have your toboggan or sledge with you, free rental toboggans are available at our hotel.

There are a total of eight toboggan runs around Seefeld – from the easy toboggan slope for children in Obern (this is even illuminated until 10.00 pm) to the challenging toboggan run at the Wettersteinhütte.

A popular toboggan run is the Nature toboggan run Seefeld, which is over 2.5 km long and leads from the Reitheralm (1,505 m) in the Rosshütte ski area down to Seefeld.

You can board the toboggan run at the Rosshütte valley station. Since there is no bus or lift transfer, you have to take the trouble of a climb, which is not only worthwhile, but is actually part of tobogganing.

WINTER FUN FOR THE FAMILY
Several artificial and natural ice rinks invite you to ice skating and curling. Take the opportunity to learn these fun winter sports or to practise them with the kids and the kids at heart. Enjoy the perfectly prepared ice skating and curling rinks and the impressive mountain panorama in Seefeld in Tyrol.

Two ice rinks, the artificial ice rink in the Olympia Sport and Congress Centre Seefeld and the natural ice rink in Eisack/Scharnitz are available for ice skating. Ice skates can be rented at the ice rink in the congress centre. The natural ice rink in Scharnitz is available to all skaters free of charge.

CURLING
The Seefeld region offers a total of 4 possibilities for curling fans. With 12 lanes, Toni’s curling rink in Seefeld is the largest in the region. Newcomers to this sociable pastime are offered free training in the rules and technique. The Olympia Sport and Congress Centre in Seefeld offers a further 6 lanes, 2 lanes at the natural ice rink in Scharnitz and 3 lanes at the Birkenstüberl in Seefeld.
