LA SERRA RESTAURANT
The La Serra Restaurant in Positano reflects how the Capilongo family is always in search of excellence in their hospitality.

The gourmet dinner suggestions by our star chef will surprise you with their skillful blending of updated traditional recipes and locally-sourced fish, meat, and vegetables. Fish rules the menu but you’ll find plenty of meat options to suit your appetite.

At the La Serra Restaurant you can choose to dine in the cozy interior dining room or out on the fabulous terrace overlooking Positano.

Breakfast is served in the main room of the La Serra Restaurant: a diverse buffet with sweet and savory options, and homemade tarts. During the day we suggest a light lunch of unmistakable flavors in delicious dishes, always based on the best ingredients.

FROM FARM TO TABLE
We have our own garden where we grow our own herbs as well as many of the vegetables we serve fresh in the restaurant.

We take special care of our citrus trees, to ensure you get the most of that unmistakable perfume of the Amalfi Coast with each morsel of our scialatielli agli agrumi. Each bite contains the essence of Positano.

THE WINES
To make our offering especially attractive, the cellar of the La Serra Restaurant is filled with a rich variety of wines from Italy and abroad, with a special space reserved for sparkling wines, as well as organic and natural wines.

CHEF & PHILOSOPHY
Luigi Tramontano is a talented young chef with an amazing ability to revisit the recipes of his native area, Campania, with a touch all of his own. He aims for two things in each dish: to respect the quality of the basic ingredients and to bring out the detail in each dish as it’s presented. Your eyes can get hungry too.

Luigi began his path to success by training at the Etoile Academy. After distinguishing himself in the most esteemed Italian restaurants, he felt the pull to his native Campania.

He entered the kitchen of Don Alfonso 1890 in Sant’Agata sui due Golfi in grand style and was awarded 2 Michelin Stars, through broadening his horizons by experimenting with new flavors.

Under his magic touch, the restaurants Il Flauto di Pan in Ravello, and the Terrazza Bosquet of the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento each earned a Michelin Star. But this was just the beginning of a path lined with stars.

In February 2017 Luigi Tramontano became the Executive Chef of the La Serra and Remmese Restaurants at the Hotel Le Agavi, directing the full restaurant offering.

After just eight months in our kitchens, in November 2017, this chef’s genius was recognized with the most coveted award in his category: the Michelin Star 2018. Our restaurants are now in the world’s most trusted guide to gourmet.

The chef’s philosophy on first taste is based on seasonal fruit and vegetables, from our own garden, fresh fish, inspired by Mediterranean recipes, and the world’s cuisine.

REMESSE RESTAURANT
The Remmese Restaurant is part of the exclusive Remmese Beach House, our private stretch of beach with the most transparent waters in Positano. The kitchen is directed by the inspiration of chef Luigi Tramontano with a menu to suit the perfect day on the beach.

For lunch you can order the great classics of our tradition: the lemon scialatielli with clams, fish soup, and the mixed fry all have a more intense taste when you’re by the sea. For dinner, the Remmese Restaurant changes its look – a more elegant tone, more refined menu – as befits a starlit dinner. For unforgettable evenings.

THE APERITIF
When the sun begins to sink, the sky above Positano is tinged with pink and orange: the perfect frame for romantic moments. Taste a cocktail seated next to the one you love.An aperitivo by the sea at Remmese will stay in your heart and memories.

Light lunch is available every day from 12.30 am to 5.30 pm. The restaurant welcomes non-resident guests arriving by sea.

For a coffee or quick break between swimming and lounging, head to The Pool Space, next to the pool.

THE POOL BAR
The stone bar under the arches is ideal for a pick-me-up. Relax and enjoy a refreshing drink, gelato, or fruity cocktail. Information: The Pool Space offers a light lunch, drinks, cocktails, and gelato and is open from 12 pm to 6 pm. The pool is open from 9:30 am to 7 pm.

When a snack is not enough, let yourself by tempted by a casual lunch: a fresh salad, club sandwich or tasty cold plate. With a quick lunch you’ll have even more time to relax in the pool.

THE BARS
Give yourself a break whenever you need it: the Hotel Le Agavi has no fewer than three bars, each one designed to help you relax in just the right way. Each coffee comes with a view of Positano.

LOBBY BAR
