It was in 1999 that Giuseppina Bolfo first set eyes on an antique farmhouse in the hills of Castelnuovo Berardenga. It took seven years to carefully and respectfully renovate the structure: maintaining the energy in its massive stone exterior; building with wood from the region; and delicately adding refined terracotta pavements aligned with Chianti’s classic style.
