The Saint-Roch Hotel Courchevel is a sumptuous setting for those who wish to recharge their batteries. The hotel combines modernity and friendliness, luxury and relaxation, all in a privileged environment where the mountain spirit reigns. A single objective: to raise the act of receiving to the rank of art.

Located in the heart of the French Alps, Courchevel has become over time one of the most prestigious ski resorts in the world. Nestled in the 3 Valleys, the world’s largest ski area, the resort is divided into five villages fully linked by skis on feet.

With its gastronomy, its top brand boutiques, its ski to ski accommodation, its leisure and wellness facilities, Courchevel is undeniably the reference in French luxury in the mountains. It is also the largest French ski school with nearly 800 instructors speaking more than 15 foreign languages.

Indulge the five senses of every guest, and make their bespoke holiday an unforgettable one: this is the challenge that the hotel teams fulfil every day. Hearing, sight, smell, touch, and taste… every day we do everything we can to seduce your senses.

How, you ask? Music permeates the hotel at all times of day and night. The classical music that greets guests as they rise gives way to jazz and bossa nova in time for après-ski, before adopting a lounge feel on an evening.

The lighting also changes with the time of day, and is present from sunrise to sunset. An ambient perfume floats through the Hotel Saint Roch (rooms and communal areas), infusing the memory with its distinctive scent.

We also do our best to entice the palate, especially around tea time (our crepes and après-ski buffets are famous in their own right), and guests can enjoy a freshly made cocktail just in time for the aperitif.

And since it is never too early to learn to appreciate the finer things in life, as well as to make them for yourself, the chef provides kids’ cooking lessons.

MAISON TOURNIER
A subtle balance of authenticity and refinement. However, it is the one that the Maison Tournier has been distilling for more than seventy years.

From the creation of the L’Équipe bar in 1948, to the creation of hotels in Courchevel, Chambéry, or Saint-Tropez, everywhere our family wants to share with its guests much more than an identity: a philosophy.

It was inspired from the beginning by Joseph Tournier, who wanted to create places that combined luxury and conviviality, modernity and relaxation. Here, we raise the act of receiving to the rank of art by ensuring you tailor-made services, by betting every day on emotion rather than ostentation.

Because they respect this Savoyard terroir that gives them strength while telling the story of the mountain in a different way, our addresses have in common this little extra soul that will make your stay an exceptional experience.

SUITES
Our suites offer a lounge area and a spacious room, very pleasantly arranged in a decor that combines the beauty of contemporary and the warmth of materials and colours.

The bathrooms, for their part, favour crocodile, mother-of-pearl and metal as well as all the equipment essential for well-being such as the rain shower or the hammam.

The Hotel Saint Roch is home to 19 suites (with sizes ranging from 56m2 to 93m2) and 5 rooms (36m2 to 44 m2). While each room and suite has its own unique character, they all share a deliciously cosy feel, and the traditional wood flooring brings a touch of warmth and authenticity.

Noëlle Bonnemaison has taken the utmost care so that each room and suite comes with a nuanced interior with abundant references to mountain living, without ever neglecting to give modern touch to balance the décor.

In this vein, the furnishings are dotted with fur, velvet, and leather, and a grey colour scheme makes an excellent contrast with the brown monochrome, while golden bronze makes a striking incursion.

The bathrooms are decked in crocodile, mother-of-pearl, or metal, and all come with rainfall showers and a hammam.

APPARTEMENTS LE LOVE
The Love penthouse, two floors, 400m² Its very name is an invitation to contentment and well-being. This sumptuous penthouse is nestled at the very heart of the hotel and is accessed via a private lift.

It is composed of two 60m² suites on the ground floor, with a spectacular open plan 100m² living/dining room-kitchen, while the first floor is home to two more suites, including the master suite.

The decor is at once modern and cosy, and uses the same colour scheme as the hotel’s rooms, with skilful combinations of greys in shades from pearl to slate, light to deep chocolate browns, and splashes of bronze here and there.

The sofas are just made for relaxing while the bed (king size, of course) is the centre-piece of the night-time suite. The bathrooms are also made to the same standard as the hotel’s rooms, with the same facilities that effortlessly combine practicality, comfort, and design.

THE TABLE
White at breakfast time, the restaurant dresses in black in the evening. A large fireplace offers a warm and intimate atmosphere every evening. On his menu, the chef, respectful of traditions and products, signs local recipes with a gastronomic look.

One venue, two styles. Ying and yang. Wearing white in the morning, in time for breakfast, the Table du Saint Roch dresses up in a chic black number for dinner, subtly illuminated by dancing candlelight.

The chef oversees the inventive cuisine and lets the ingredients shine in a menu that features regional dishes that are at once simple and refined. The wine list is a deft combination of big names and new discoveries, unearthed by the sommelier who is always on the lookout for new wines and vineyards.

The bar is definitely the place to be, and the number one spot for all of Courchevel. On the ground floor of the hotel, things start to liven up in the bar at tea time when skiers return from the slopes and call in for a revitalizing snack.

A popular spot either before heading out or after hours, the bar offers a range of cocktails as well as a fine selection of prestigious champagnes.

THE BAR AT SAINT-ROCH
The bar welcomes its guests for comforting snacks but also for “before” and “after” where conviviality and warm atmosphere invite each other. Cigar and chichas lovers can isolate themselves in a specially designed smoking room.

RELAXATION & CHIC
Our SPA is a real haven of peace after a day of skiing. A heated indoor swimming pool, a hammam, treatment rooms in a relaxing environment.

Incredibly intimate, the heated indoor pool delights all of our guests, sporty or otherwise. The spa offers its guests a genuine sense of wellbeing, inviting them to let go and recharge their batteries.

Well-being professionals provide beauty treatments and massages in the two dedicated rooms, and hotel guests are also able to enjoy the
hammam facilities.

The world’s largest skiing area is spread over five different altitudes for a range of different experiences where each resort is as charming as the next.

They are: Saint-Bon, at 1100m, Courchevel Le Praz (a charmingly traditional alpine village at 1300m), Courchevel 1550, with quick access to Courchevel 1850, Courchevel 1650, and the resort for which there can never be superlatives enough, Courchevel 1850.

Courchevel and its valley are best known for picture postcard scenery, breathtaking panoramas that extend from the Mont Blanc Massif in the north to the Massif des Ecrins in the south, and spectacular views across the Swiss and Italian Alps.

Courchevel is a ski resort that covers over 61 hectares and 100 miles of piste, of which 20% are green, 36% blue, 36% red, and 8% black.

There are 71 ski lifts, made up of 30 surface lifts on cables and magic carpets, 20 four-seater chairlifts, 12 gondola lifts, and 3 three-seater chairlifts. There is something for all tastes and levels of ability at Courchevel.
