THE HISTORY
Giuseppe Vespoli, founder of Marincanto, devoted his entire life to tourism. As mayor of Positano, he welcomed famous personalities and contributed to making it the symbol of the “dolce vita” along the Amalfi coast.
This legacy has been inherited by his grandchildren, who continue the family values and traditions of warm hospitality and of sharing their beautiful surroundings. For us hospitality is a family tradition.

The “Li Galli” suite is an oasis of elegance and tranquility with a mesmerizing view of the Li Galli island that you can enjoy from the terrace or the panoramic double Jacuzzi.
HONEYMOON SUITE
The “Honeymoon suite” has a very spacious living room and bedroom and an internal Jacuzzi pool with a view over the Positano bay designed for moments of romantic relax.
PRESTIGE ROOM
The new Prestige Suite, situated in the enchanting Villa Incanto, features a large salle de bain with a private pool and a bright wide bedroom rich of elegant details.
All the area of the room overlook a spectacular terrace with private garden of unique beauty and framed by lemon grooves and a breathtaking view over the bay and the town.

Throughout the day, the Marincanto offers an extensive menu combining local flavors and the taste of international customers. Dishes that savor of the Amalfi Coast, cooked with love, served either on the terrace, at the pool or directly in your room.
Our bar prepares cocktails impeccably: enjoy the sunset while sipping one of our cocktails and waiting for the Terrazza Celè to open.
TERRAZZA CELE’ RESTAURANT
Terrazza Celè is the hotel’s restaurant. Open every evening, it offers a sophisticated menu, an intimate and exclusive atmosphere and the magic of a terrace overlooking the sea. Terrace Celè owes its name to Celeste, the founder of Hotel Marincanto, who was lovingly called this way by her husband.
Set in a spectacular corner of Positano, Terrazza Celè offers a refined ambience surrounded by a secluded garden terrace facing the sea. An experience remaining in the heart and inviting you to return.
THE INFINITY POOL
The spectacular hotel pool is dug directly in the cliff overlooking the coast: water and sea seem to blend in an explosion of blue. We call it infinity pool: are we exaggerating? The pool at the Marincanto is the ideal place to sunbathe and relax: the surrounding sun terraces offer a spectacular 360° view over Positano and its bay.
When you’re not in the mood to go to the beach, on very hot days or when returning from a day trip, it’s wonderful to take a dip in the pool and enjoy a refreshing moment losing yourself in the horizon.
And pamper yourself. Be it a light lunch under a sun umbrella or an aperitif served directly in the water, our staff is at your disposal and ready to fulfill your every desire.
THE BEACH
A private beach in Positano: a luxury that only the Marincanto can offer its guests. The Marincanto is the only hotel in the center of Positano with a privately owned beach reserved to its guests. A charming, peaceful and perfectly equipped lido situated on the flat rocks of Positano in the most exclusive corner of the coast.
The beach can be reached directly from the hotel using the private, panoramic stairs descending the cliff. Sun beds and umbrellas, showers and a refined bar service are available to our guests. Book at the reception or directly with our beach staff.
THE FITNESS AREA
Have you ever worked out whilst gazing at the sea, surrounded by the innumerable colors of the Amalfi Coast? Well then, don’t forget your gym shoes! A small outdoor area overlooking the bay with sports equipments is available for guests’ use. Practicing sport will be a new experience surrounded by the magic colors of the Amalfi coast.
