THE PAINTER – CHRISTOFF DEBUSSCHERE
Born in 1962, Christoff DEBUSSCHERE began painting at a very young age. In 1978 he trained with Philippe Lejeune at the Ecole d’Étampes to nurture his talent. Over time he enriched and modified his painting technique in line with the Flemish painters.
He likes to capture atmospheres with vivacity and energy, places that tell stories, the secrets of interior scenes … each painting evokes a particular ambiance and quality of light. He has received numerous awards, including the silver and gold medals at the Salon des Artistes Français, and was named the Official Painter of the Navy.

Set back from the Boulevard de Port-Royal, in the quiet little Rue Pascal, Le Grand Dictionnaire invites you to make yourself comfortable on its verdant terrace. Once seated, you can fully enjoy the summer sweetness of the day or evening. Large parasols will shelter you during the sunniest hours so that you can devote yourself entirely to conversation… and, of course, to the contents of your plate!
True to his principles, the chef of the Grand Dictionnaire offers his diners gourmet dishes that are versions of traditional recipes enhanced with influences from far away. Subtle and generous, they invite you to engage in world travel through the magic of taste alone.
As a starter, smoked bonito goes beautifully with pear, fennel and yuzu, while the grated celery is accompanied by Greek yoghurt and curry.
