Monument Hotel Barcelona, a modern and luxurious hotel located in the heart of the emblematic Paseo de Gracia, the most elegant shopping street in Barcelona and one of the most exclusive in the world, as well as the core of the city’s tourist, cultural and business life.
The hotel is housed in an imposing mansion of neo-Gothic inspiration, the EnricBatlló House, which was built between 1895 and 1896 by the pre-modernist architect, Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas, as commissioned by the industrialist, EnricBatlló.
The facade of the building, one of the most artistic and aesthetically significant on Paseo de Gracia, strikes for its bright polychromy, resulting from the combination of various materials, such as brickwork, stone, ceramic and wrought iron.
The renovation project of the Monument Hotel was carried out by the architects, Oscar Tusquets, in the preliminary design, and Carles Basso and Tote Moreno, in collaboration with the interior designer, Mercè Borrell.
The combination of design spaces and modernist elements, the emphasis on light and the combination of fine materials and textures make the Monument Hotel a timeless luxury hotel with its own personality.
PENTHOUSE SUITE
Located on the top hotel floor, this exclusive penthouse comprises the building’s most modernist and historical wing. Its access to five balconies offers panoramic views of the Paseo de Gracia boulevard and the well-known Pedrera building.
Its 130 m2 are distributed in two bedrooms with balcony, a spacious living room and a lounge area. It consists of two main bathrooms, one with whirlpool and rain shower, and the other with a Victoria & Albert bathtub. Both include exclusive bathroom accessories. In addition, it offers two guest toilets.

Gastronomy is one of the main commitments of Monument Hotel, the only hotel in the country which hosts 4 Michelin Stars in its facilities under the gastronomic direction of Martín Berasategui, the Spanish chef with 12 Michelin stars.
LASARTE RESTAURANT
One year after it was opened, in 2007, Lasarte Barcelona was awarded the first star in prestigious Michelin Guide and in 2010 our restaurant obtained the second star. Michelin Guide 2017 awarded Lasarte Barcelona with a third Michelin star, making the restaurant and absolute must-go for food lovers from all over the world.
After a full renovation carried out recently, the new Lasarte Restaurant got a distinctive touch, becoming more spacious, bright and modern.
The rehabilitation project has been leaded by architects Oscar Tusquets, Carles Bassó and Tote Moreno and interior decoration is signed by interior designer Mercè Borrell. The emphasis on light, textures with dominance of oak and selection of furnishings have been the mainstay of the entire project to give the restaurant a unique personality.

ORIA RESTAURANT
Oria Restaurant is a modern and sophisticated space integrated into the lobby of the hotel by means of an inverted pyramid structure. The best ingredients in equilibrium with creativity are the hallmarks of Oria’s culinary offer.
It is mainly characterised by its high ceiling, a skylight that floods the space with natural light and a lamp-pool with still waters which brings order to the setting.
The Bistro-style restaurant, directed by Martín Berasategui, serves fresh cuisine inspired by the gastronomy of the countries that are bathed by the Mediterranean with a nod to Basque cuisine.
GLASS RESTAURANT
Glasss is the new glazed and bright space located on the terrace of the 6th floor of the hotel to welcome the day with a succulent breakfast buffet.
