Located on the site of the former Tolstoy family mansion, the hotel was built in 1928 – in the Art Deco style – by architect Henri Porteau. Shortly after its opening, it was bought by a Russian businessman who gave it as a wedding present to his beautiful French wife. They lived there for several years, entertaining the whole of Paris.

In the course of its history, the hotel has hosted many distinguished guests and celebrities such as Prince Felix Yusupov, Ivan Bunin (Nobel Prize for Literature), Ernest Hemingway, John Steinbeck, Salvador Dalí, Errol Flynn, Orson Welles, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Josephine Baker.

For your well-being, the hotel’s fitness room offers quality equipment dedicated to cardio exercises and muscle strengthening. This bright space, exclusively reserved for guests, is accessible every day from 7:30 am to 10 pm.

The Napoleon Hotel offers a wide range of massages and treatments. They are available in the spa or in your room every day from 9am to 9pm and can be booked before your arrival or directly with our concierge.

THE 1807 BAR
First coffee in the morning, light lunch, French tea, gourmet aperitifs that go on and on… 1807 is alive all day long. Confidential and luminous, it’s a good place to stop and chat and watch Parisian life go by on the terrace.

The evening menu offers a selection of wines and champagnes, numerous signature cocktails as well as tasty and original recipes to share for a greater conviviality. An uninhibited offer, which leaves you free to choose according to your desires.
