As in Yoann Conte’s kitchen, nature is omnipresent here too. Bundles of brushwood adorn the walls; on the ceiling you can see old dehydrators that still contain wheat cobs and other dried herbs; the paintings are all allusions to the natural riches of the region.
The Lac d’Annecy glitters through the windows, and from the terrace of your room you can admire its crystal clear water even closer.

Throughout the seasons, Yoann Conte and his brigade adapt their menus to the products offered to them by their producers, many of which are local and with whom they have worked for some time.
Very attached to the Haute-Savoie where he has worked for many years, Conte is working to publicise and preserve this culinary heritage which is like no other.

This is a modern day tale (Conte in French) with no cloak or daggers, just a set of kitchen knives, a smock and an ordinary man who is bubbling with truly extraordinary ideas.
Yoann Elodie Conte embodies all at the same time the sincerity of the Breton folk, the hospitality of the people from the Lorraine region, the curiosity of the Americans, the generosity of the Basques, the stubborn character of mountain people and the loud-mouth attitude of people from southern France.
This is no coincidence as chef Yoann has lived in each of these places. Based on noble values that bring people together, he set out to build not a fairy tale castle but a palace dedicated to flavours. A place that is favourable for encounters.
Some of which have changed his life – such as Marc Veyrat from whom he learned so much before taking over the restaurant, or Elodie, who was first his right arm before becoming his wife – others have simply changed his perception of a single day or a product.
