We entrusted the full decoration of the Hotel to Ditmore Studio. To join together the flesh of History and the breath of our time. By combining vintage furniture with tailor-made creations, items found at flea markets with signed objects.

The History
The Hotel Saint-Marc was built in 1791 on the site of the private residence of the Duc de Choiseul and was one of the most magnificent properties in Paris during the 18th century.

It extended from rue Saint-Marc to the ramparts of Paris, and had three large gardens. Some of the hotel rooms overlook the Salle Favart, Opera Comique that was constructed during the same period. The illustrious Duc de Choiseul was known for his political genius, scathing spirit and his love of art.

Superficial and frivolous, and often even shameless, he passed on to prosperity a number of his scintillating repartees, including “”j’aime mon plaisir à la folie”” (I love my pleasure madly””). It was also in this house that the solemn protest was drafted that triggered the Revolution of 1830.

Design by Dimore Studio
Our hotel and Dimore Studio share the same inspiring vision of a colorful, elegant and bold Art Deco residence. With this objective in mind, the architects, Britt Moran and Emiliano Salci, entrusted artists and craftspeople with a unique talent and expertise to create paintings, fabrics and furniture for our hotel.

Here, as in all its previous signature projects, Dimore Studio interprets memories and creates dreams, crossing the boundaries between art and design, fashion and architecture.

For the Hotel Saint-Marc, Dimore proposed a new visual journey and an emotional alchemy, based on a design combining tradition with invention, historical references with innovation.

It is a place where an esthetic flourishes beyond any boundaries, where uniqueness enriches harmony, in an evocative and powerful atmosphere.

As our guests enter the lobby, they are welcomed by a subtle alliance of black and white marble, powder pink walls and rich sumptuous velvet, which create a sense of intimacy and warmth.

This softly muted atmosphere can be found on all the floors where noble materials, deep color palettes and graphic Art Deco lines elegantly abound.

Hôtel Saint-Marc has 26 rooms, including one suite. They are designed as private apartments, as luxurious and comfortable as they are intimate and Parisian.

They come in six different decors, characterized by six main colors: sky blue, petrol green, pink, burgundy red, mustard yellow and pine green, which give each of them a unique and resolutely aesthetic dimension.

Built around high-quality materials, in an Art Deco style with contemporary accents, they feature a truly concentrated elegance, which can be seen in particular in the pieces of art and decoration imagined by the Murano artisans, as well as through the furniture made to order or sourced by Dimore Studio.

Deep carpets and soft light, lacquered wood pieces and mirrored and brass doors play a role in this chemistry that is both contemporary and vintage. The spacious bathrooms extend the feeling of comfort and elegance.

Available in 6 categories – Superior, Executive, Deluxe, Prestige, Triple and Suite –, these 26 exceptional rooms also offer lovely views of place Boieldieu, the hotel’s leafy courtyard or the Théâtre National de l’Opéra Comique, offering a tranquility and quietude that is rare for Paris.

Suite
An apartment in Paris. Our suite offers a large space consisting of a bedroom and a small living room with tasteful furniture that has been designed entirely for the hotel. With tasteful furniture that has been designed entirely for the hotel, it has tables, sofas, armchair and a big cozy bed with a gorgeous headboard.

This suite is ideal for enjoying the full experience of a beautiful pied-à-terre in Paris as well every amenity. The space can be suited to your desires for a romantic getaway or as a family stay for 3 to 4 people.

Prestige Room
Defined by their prestige and elegance, these rooms offer an exceptional 35 m² to 40 m² space, all with the sophistication and comfort that a couple or family desires during their stay.

Opening onto quiet rue Saint-Marc, the space can be tailored to your desires with either a king-sized bed and accompanying headboard or two twin beds.

A desk and chair and a lovely stool, all custom-designed, complete the unique atmosphere of this beautiful space. Everything is made of sought-after materials, from the carpet to the curtains, the woodwork to the brass finishes.

Deluxe Room
Our luxurious and spacious Deluxe rooms offer a beautiful bright and refined space. This cozy room for two features a double bed with a beautiful headboard, a desk, an elegantly designed armchair and a stool to complete the custom design furniture.

The rooms, which measure from 26 to 29 square meters, all overlook rue Saint-Marc.

We offer a Happy Breakfast Buffet every day from 7 am to 10:30 am in a comfortable room bathed in natural light or in our delightful courtyard garden when the weather is nice. Our wide variety of choices will ensure that you start the day invigorated and happy.

Cereals, cakes, breads, crepes and homemade pastries, with gluten-free bread and cake available. Organic eggs, cooked in every possible way: boiled, fried, in an omelet, scrambled…Fresh fruit juice and salads.

Cold meats and salmon. You can also enjoy a continental version of this delicious breakfast in your room. Simply make your request through the front desk and your meal will arrive within about ten minutes.
