Hotel Stefania is a small 4-star Boutique hotel overlooking the crystal-clear sea of the charming Pittulongu Beach and surrounded by a well-kept garden. Its unique architecture and pastel-coloured walls discretely blend with the surrounding mediteranean nature.

The hotel has 40 rooms: 30 in the main building built in 1992 and an additional 10 rooms 80 metres from the main facility in Villa Stefania, which was inaugurated in 2004.

Services include a well-known restaurant (Nino’s) also patronized by clientele not staying at the hotel, a coffee shop with a terrace overlooking the sea, a panoramic swimming pool and two jacuzzi,a fitness room, a meeting room with ample parking and a private, equipped private beach and free wifi

NINO’S RESTAURANT
For over 44 years, Nino’s restaurant has been one of the most highly regarded and patronized restaurants – not only by tourists staying at Hotel Stefania, but also by the local residents of Olbia and the surrounding area.

The restaurant offers flavours and scents of typical Sardinia regional cuisine, with many fish and homemade specialities offered in a Mediterranean atmosphere enriched with a hint of the sea.

Spaghetti with lobster, spaghetti with seafood, local made gnocchetti, sauteed mussels and clams, bass with Vernaccia wine, and unfailing homemade desserts are just some of the dishes you must taste at the restaurant.

PRIVATE BEACH
Hotel Stefania’s beach is on the Pittulongu Beach, which comprises many other smaller and large beaches alike, lapped by a crystal-clear sea and bordered by the road running from Olbia to Golfo Aranci.

The hotel’s beach is a stretch of very fine white sand leading to a turquoise sea, and can be reached by walking through the hotel’s garden. Clientele can make use of a large area of the private beach equipped with sun umbrellas and sunbeds.

GOLFO ARANCI
The name Golfo Aranci derives from a misinterpretation of the cartographers of the mid-twentieth century: Gulfu di li Ranci, in Gallura, ‘gulf of the crab’, was translated with Golfo Aranci.

The village of Golfo Aranci extends on a tongue of land in the middle of the sea, overlooking the Gulf of Olbia. The area was inhabited during the Nuragic Age, around the VII century BC, then it was a Roman port. The inhabited center, originally a fishing village, is today a lively village of colorful houses.

The territory of Golfo Aranci has over twenty beaches, some wild, others comfortable and equipped, but all characterized by breathtaking colors. But it is not only the beaches that deserve a visit to Golfo Aranci. The feast of the Assumption is not to be missed in mid-August. It is very popular in the village and during which the fish festival is held.

PITTULONGU BAY
The long beach of Pittulongu with its fine white sand and emerald color water overlooks the breathtaking Island of Tavolara. The whole bay is a succession of splendid small beaches where to swim in the crystal turquoise sea.

The hotel’s beach is equipped with every comfort including sunbeds and umbrellas. If you walk little further you can find the wildest and least frequented beaches where to hike around while enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the landscape.

WHITE BEACH IN GOLFO ARANCI
The White Beach is located in the municipality of Golfo Aranci. From the Stefania hotel you can reach the beachl by driving north a few minutes by car and continuing along a off road next to the Spiaggia Bianca residence. Once there, there is a parking (to be paid).

To get to the beach you walk a few meters through some sand dunes dotted with wild lilies and the Mediterranean fauna, then you are in front of a sandy white cove, almost dazzling on sunny days.

The seabed is low for several meters and the water has colors ranging from blue to turquoise to emerald. Here you can enjoy an enchanting view, at the sight of the Island of Tavolara, of Golfo Aranci and of the whole coast up to Capo Coda Cavallo.

CALA SABINA
The beach of Cala Sabina is located along the north coast of the promontory of Capo Figari, also in the municipality of Golfo Aranci in Gallura, in the north-eastern coast of Sardinia.
Cala Sabina is a beach of fine white sand that looks like flour.

The beach, about 300 meters wide, is surrounded by dunes covered with junipers and the Mediterranean scrub. The seabed is low for many meters and the color of the water is Caribbean.

MARINELLA
The famous Marinella Beach, is located in Porto Rotondo, along the beautiful coast of northern Sardinia, in the province of Olbia Tempio. Reachable from the Hotel Stefania in about 15 minutes by car.

The beach of marinella is one of the widest beachin the area and is fortunate to be sheltered from the wind blowing from the west, one of the predominant wind in the summer. The beach is made up of very fine and very white sand.

The seabed is shallow and slopes gently, making this beach particularly suitable for bathing and children’s games, while behind it there are all kinds of services from restaurants to water sport establishments.

CALA SASSARI
Near the White Beach, there is Cala Sassari is another white fine sandy beach not far from the Hotel Stefania. It is a small bay beach, with clear turquoise water and turquoise and equipped with private sunbeds and umbrella.

CALA BANANA
Another beautiful beach just 5 minutes from our hotel by car. Cala Banana is an almost never too crowded beach. After the Lido di Pittulongu, you will find a junction marked with a Nodu Pianu tourist sign. Follow up to a fork where you have to keep your left.

Continue to two small clearings at the side of the road, park and follow the off road that leads to the beach. Cala Banana is a small beach surrounded by the meditteranean nature, lapped by a mirror of crystalline water with a shallow and sandy bottom.

PORTO ISTANA
Heading south, past Olbia and the old salt pans, at the northern limit of the protected marine area of ??From the beach set out on the mule track that allows you to climb up to the old traffic light of 1890 of the navy at about 340 meters high to enjoy a breathtaking view. Precisely from this place Guglielmo Marconi in 1932 experimented with sending radio-telegraphic and radiotelephonic signals.
