Impodimo Game Lodge is set on a rocky ridge overlooking the vistas within the magnificent malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve of the North West Province of South Africa.
Madikwe Game Reserve covers an area of 75000 hectares of unique topography and breathtaking beauty bordering Botswana. It is home to the Big 5, the beautiful Painted Wolf (African Wild Dogs), Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena a variety of large mammals and bird life.

Deluxe Suites
Accommodation in a self-contained luxury unit, which has two suites, each with its own private deck and en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, double hand basin, large bath and excellent views.
The unit also has a central lounge and dining facility with its own kitchen, bar and a viewing deck overlooking a waterhole and stunning views. There is also a private pool fitted with a safety net when not in use for those with younger children.

In our cooler winter months, we offer our guests the opportunity to explore the other side of the park with the ranger and tracker. Spend a day out in the bush, stopping for a picnic lunch in the shade.

A day in the bush is not complete without an in room massage treatment out on your private deck or on our Sala viewing deck. Luxury has never felt this good.
Game Drives
Rise in the morning to an African dawn and enjoy an early morning game drive with your dedicated professional ranger and tracker. Relax as your ranger guides you through the bush on a custom made open Land Rover searching out the secrets of nature.
In the afternoon, when the heat of the African sun has diminished and the shadows are longer, head out on a sundowner safari to watch the sun set on this bushveld paradise and go in search of the more nocturnal creatures that now rule the bush.
Bushwalks
Set out on a bush walk with your armed ranger and learn the art of tracking African game, enjoy the trees, birds and stunning scenery.
Trackers
Impodimo has the advantage out during the safaris, in that we have talented trackers on each game viewer that assists the ranger in finding the animals. Trackers make an immense difference as they have the ability to see and read the signs of the bush that others might have missed.
Children on Safari
Children of all ages are welcome at Impodimo and we love to go out of our way to ensure that kids and parents both have an unforgettable safari experience.
Our kiddies program is tailored to the different ages and can be fun and educational for all. Each child receives a personalized welcome pack with goodies and activities to do in between safaris.
Children over the age of 6 years are welcome on the game drives, however, families with younger children need not fear that their kids will miss out, as we offer a ‘kiddies bumble’ which is shorter and aimed at keeping the little one’s attention.
Elephant Hide
What happens when you can’t get enough of the game viewing on game drive? You spend your time in our amazing Elephant hide of course.
Our underground hide is situated mere meters away from the lodge’s waterhole with non-stop action from Elephants rolling in the mud to terrapins poking their heads out from the water. With a fully stocked bar and the finest Italian coffee you wouldn’t want to leave this air-conditioned paradise.
Empowering Children
Supingstad Primary School is near and dear to our hearts. A number of our staffs children attend Supingstad Primary school and as a lodge we feel we need to help the community that we live in to help raise children to a brighter future.
This year we started the Impodimo Conservation club where we invited thirty High school students for a full day of presentations, lectures, lunch and game drive. The idea behind this is to educate the children on the various aspects of game lodges, game reserves and nature.
- Job creation. All the different departments, their roles and importance to the success of the lodge.
- Revenue stream/Guests. How guests perceive game lodges, game reserves and the power of positive/negative advertising.
- Challenges that nature faces. Poaching, Pollution, Deforestation and bad ecological practices.

Protecting Wildlife
Rhinos are in critical need of our help. With so many Rhinos being poached on a daily basis, a number of young rhinos are left as orphans. Impodimo makes a monthly contribution to assist them in caring and raising the young calves. Should you wish to make a contribution towards the cause of saving our wildlife.
They are the future
Having begun operations in 2007, The Last Hope Organisation (TLH) is a registered South African non-profit humanitarian organisation that caters for abused, abandoned ,neglected and underprivileged children who occupy various child ,youth care centres and Squatter Camps in Gauteng.
Their founding mission is to give these children experiences that are unknown to them, giving them the chance to look through an open window of endless possibilities and, one day, walk through the door beside it.
