Located on the hillside, the Two Bedroom Cottage provides a dramatic view of the Caribbean Sea from the verandas. Tucked away on the upper hillside of the property, guests have a dramatic view of the Caribbean Sea. The suites are a mere 60 steps from the beach and main house.

The Beach Cottage Deluxe is the most private cottage at Laluna or at any Caribbean resort. This Balinese styled, romantic free standing cottage is the only suite located directly on the beach.

Featuring a breezy open-plan design, with a generously sized and tastefully appointed bedroom. French doors open onto a private veranda and plunge pool just a few steps from the waters edge.

We import all of our Italian ingredients directly from the finest suppliers, in fact you can have Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano, Calabrian Sun-dried Tomatoes, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Pasta DeCecco, Cantuccini con Vin Santo, Nespresso Caffe, in short, all the goodies you can find, when you visit my country, Italia.

Laluna’s poolside Grenada Beach Bar and sunset Lounge, look over the Caribbean Sea and provides an unbelievable sunset experience. Comfortable seating lounge with Balinese daybeds, is the ideal place to grab a rum punch, take a deep breath, and relax.

You can have an Italian experience here at Laluna, also by drinking some of the wines that we discover from small unknown vineyards in Italy. Our wine cellar, houses discovered wines from different regions in Italy.

The number one Grenada resort activities at Laluna we recommend, is relaxing in the warm Caribbean sun with a tropical drink in hand. However, we do offer a variety of on resort activities to our hotel and villa guests, who want to keep active or have new experiences, while they stay with us.

SUNSET POINT
The magical time of the day at Laluna, is sunset. Head to the bar and ask for the ‘Sunset Point Carry Bag’ which holds a bottle of wine and two wine glasses. A good pair of agile legs will get you on the narrow path that leads out onto the promontory.

A bench for two, a wine opener and your favourite person under your arm, is all it takes to make the sunset all the more special. Look out for the famous Green Flash. It is when the top of the sun touches the horizon, creating an instantaneous Green Flash. Some say its a myth, but check it out the next time you view the sunset at Laluna.

ISLAND OF GRENADA
The island of Grenada, about page has many interesting facts and helpful tips: Also known as the Spice Isle, is one of the most beautiful islands in the Caribbean.

To one side of our tropical paradise lays the Caribbean Sea, and to the other, the Atlantic Ocean. Grenada’s landscape is composed of pristine beaches, rain forest, lush mountains, and refreshing waterfalls.

This small Caribbean nation consists of three islands: Grenada, Carriacou, and Petit Martinique. Grenada is by far the largest of the three, with a width of twelve miles (18 km) and a length of twenty-one miles (34 km). The island’s 133 sq. miles (440 sq. km.) are mountainous, volcanic terrain, reaching heights of over 2,750 feet atop Mount St. Catherine.

This topography provides the island of Grenada with one of the loveliest and most varied environments in the Caribbean, including crater lakes as well as a startling variety of plant and animal life. Forests shift to mangrove at the coast, giving way to stunning white sand beaches, brilliant blue water, and exquisite coral reefs.

The three islands of Grenada are located in the Eastern Caribbean at the southern extremity of the Windward islands, only 100 miles north of Venezuela. To the north lie St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the south Trinidad and Tobago.

Our recommendations for exploring out and about our island of Grenada:

• Spice Market Saturday is a little livelier, but any day is great except Sunday. Go in the morning, before the sun gets too hot in town.
• Belmont Estate Traditional rural life at its best. The Estate features a functioning cocoa and nutmeg plantation. Try “The Chocolate Experience”, where you are shown how organic chocolate goes from the cocoa field to being made into chocolate.
• Waterfalls For easy access, try Annadale Falls or Concorde. For a short walk try Mt Carmel or Seven Sisters Waterfall for a longer hike.
• Rivers Antoine Rum Distillery Try Grenada’s fiery rum in a historic setting.
• Nutmeg Processing Station Nutmeg is one of Grenada’s main exports; learn about this spice the local way.
• Molinere Underwater Sculpture Park Great snorkeling and diving experience with incredible underwater sculptures.

GUIDED TRIP TO ST GEORGE’S
The day begins with a trip to Grenada’s capital of St. George’s to experience the ‘Market’. Find spices, trinkets, and souvenirs to bring back to your friends and family.

Fort George Next it’s off to the Fort, which offers a panoramic view of the city, Grand Anse and all the southwest coast from the top of the Fort walls. Shop Finally, a stop at Art Fabrik & Tikal to pick up some local handicrafts and textiles before heading back to Laluna. (We recommend that you start after breakfast – 9 or 10 am)

RAIN FOREST WATERFALL TRIP
Walk through the forest at Mt Carmel, where you can swim in the waterfalls, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. On the way back, drive through the Grand Etang National Park, visiting the Mona monkeys at the visitors center. (We recommend that you start after breakfast – 9 or 10 am)

GRANADA SAILING CRUISES
Group Sunset Sailing and Snorkeling at the Underwater Sculpture Park and Flamingo Bay, with drinks and sandwiches. Transfers from/to Laluna are included in the price.

Take a step back in time on Savvy, a hand built vessel with a history dating back to the 1800’s. Originally used for inter-Caribbean cargo shipments. Offered onboard are freshly squeezed juices and rum punches, all products on Savvy. Maximum 4 guests. Transfers from/to Laluna are included in the price.

GRENADA DIVING
A splendid dive experience including a two tank dive of a fascinating reef site with a variety of sea creatures and schooling fish. Various dive sites and may include the Underwater Sculpture Park with the man-made art exhibit now naturally covered in marine life. Pick up time: 8:15 am The diver must be certified.
