Indeed, exceptionally beautiful. Even for a 5-star superior hotel from which one already expects a lot. But exceeding expectations has always been our thing. Our warm hospitality is just one quality that has made Landhaus Stricker a well known and loved destination far beyond the borders of Sylt.
A classic northern German fish roll? Delicious! However, we prefer to leave the classics to others. At Landhaus Stricker we have a bit of a different approach to culinary pleasure.

Creative cuisine at the highest level is what host, Grand Chef and Michelin star chef Holger Bodendorf and his team stand for – the reason why they stand in the kitchen together!

LIVING
As if it were home: the spacious rooms and luxurious suites at Landhaus Stricker make time on site pass in such a relaxed and comfortable way so that every moment becomes pleasurable – and the joy of being here becomes an anticipation of coming back.
Mom, Dad, can we go to Landhaus Stricker again? It is sentences like these from our youngest guests that are the greatest praise for us. That’s why we do a lot to make children feel comfortable with us: Whether it is the playground by the restaurant or that there are no time restrictions for the pool (although an adult accompany is required for safety reasons).
Additionally, we have many things ready for families with babies and toddlers: Baby crib, baby monitor, changing mat, kettle, bottle warmer, diaper pail and more are available, as is (on request) a kind and experienced babysitter for a special evening off on vacation.
Dogs are welcome at Landhaus Stricker. In order for the island stay to be nice and relaxing for our four-legged friends, we have tips and advice ready – and make a great effort to offer suitable rooms for dog owners (at the daily price with a dog). Dogs are not allowed at breakfast or Bodendorf’s. On request, we are happy to organize a dog sitter for an applicable fee.
2 BEDROOM COUNTRY HOUSE SUITE
An ambience to dream in: high-quality fabrics, sustainable materials and great attention to detail. In our large country house suites, two levels with plenty of space invite you to an unforgettable stay on Sylt and at Landhaus Stricker.
On the lower level you will find the spacious living room and the generously dimensioned bathroom, and via a staircase you will reach the sleeping area with the two separate bedrooms. As in all our rooms and suites, you also have the option here of playing your individual favourite music via Bluetooth.
COUNTRY HOUSE SUITE
More space to feel good – with all the modern and high-quality equipment you need. The luxurious country house suites in maisonette style are all located on the upper floor of Landhaus Stricker and impress with their cosy and well thought-out room layout: while the living area and the elegant bathroom are located in the lower area of the suites, the beautiful bedroom awaits you under the roof.
JUNIOR SUITE
Our Junior Suites are family and child-friendly, combining indoor/outdoor living seamlessly and effortlessly thanks to a beautiful terrace with a beach chair and a view of the park.
In the combined living and sleeping area, you will find not only an exclusive ambience but also plenty of space, which allows for an extra bed, for example. The feel-good atmosphere is rounded off by a luxurious bathroom.
DOUBLE ROOM
When it comes to comfort and luxury, you are allowed to be generous: In our double rooms, this starts with the space available and continues in the modern design with exclusive furnishings and numerous amenities. Among other things, each room has a cosy seating area for wonderfully relaxing hours.
