Dominique Loiseau had this room classified as Historic Monuments, so that it remains the witness of this fabulous era. The whole establishment is opened on Dominique Loiseau’s sumptuous park-garden. As a great enthusiast, she is the one who searches for the different plants.

All 33 rooms include a free access to the Spa Loiseau des Sens! The Relais & Châteaux Bernard Loiseau 5-star hotel in Burgundy is organized on four levels, served by the emblematic oak staircase tower.
The hotel is accessible to people with disabilities or reduced mobility (2 bedrooms with fully adapted bathrooms). We also have four connecting rooms and a family suite.
Spa Suite VIP
During your stay, enjoy free access to the spa Loiseau des Sens. You will find all the facilities of a beautiful spa: a large duo treatment cabin, a hammam, a sauna and a balneo are cleverly arranged in the suite in the heart of which sits a majestic fireplace contemporary.
All the place is cladded in wood and entirely glazed on the outside to invite you to fully experience this interlude of softness in the refreshing setting of Auxois-Morvan.
This cocoon offers all the comfort and authenticity for an unforgettable stay. Champagne, mini fours, room service are available for a day, a half day or overnight stay for two people. Perfect for very private romantic moments or a honeymoon!

Designed to make bedtime a sacred moment, cocoons, all in wood and cane, surround the bed, giving a very cosy feel.
The colours of the marble meet the warm colours of floor tiles, and the new modern and cosy furniture brings out the solid oak beams to perfection. A new experience of innovation in tradition within our historic Relais&Châteaux.
Junior Suite
These junior suites of 55 square metres, exposed beams are combined with shades of burgundy red, blue, or light colors. Some have a private garden with direct access to the park, others have a fireplace or an atypical bathroom. Stylish furniture and fine chests of drawers add the finishing touches.
Superior Room
In our superior room of 38 square metres, the variety of materials used creates a blend of the traditional and the contemporary: terracotta tiles, oak bed head and modern light fittings.
The superior rooms are all overlooking the garden. All our superior rooms also have a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and a shower, a double bassins and Pure herbs bath products.
A high place of French gastronomy
The Restaurant “La Côte-d’Or” embodies the anchoring synonymous with excellence and attachment to the land that makes the Bernard Loiseau signature. Chef Patrick Bertron seeks to bring nature, and more particularly the Morvan, into the plate.
The Chef
Arrived in the kitchen in 1982, chef Patrick Bertron has officiated for 40 years in Saulieu. Originally from Brittany, he offers cuisine on the Côte-d’Or that is concerned with taste, which combines poetry and creativity. She expresses her deep attachment to her adopted land, Burgundy and more specifically its Morvan.
On his mountain bike, his second passion, he crosses the lands of the Morvan in search of inspiration and wild herbs and other local products. On the menu, it also offers the great classics of Bernard Loiseau.
Wine Cellar
The Relais Bernard Loiseau restaurant has one of the finest wine cellars in Burgundy (15,000 bottles, or 900 references). Executive Head Sommelier Eric Goettelmann, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2019, signs the menus for all our restaurants.

The bistro “Loiseau des Sens”
A true bistronomic experience above the Spa “Loiseau des Sens” strives to offer local, market cuisine. The majority of products are organic and local, selected from producers and breeders in the region.
Wellness
The Villa Loiseau des Sens and its 1500m2 dedicated to well-being have been awarded several times for the unique spa experience, in the heart of the Morvan.
It is composed of a “Multisensory universe” on one hand, designed for an intense and diverse stimulation of the 5 senses (phlebological course, draining and relaxing bench, bubbling beach, aquavelos, Hydronox sofa, massage alcoves, swimming, geyser), and a “Pleasure universe” on the other hand, conducive to relaxation and well-being (sauna with a garden view, hammams, experiential shower, ice fountain, waterfall bucket, not to mention the sea air cabin).
It is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. This space is accessible for children (from 3 years old) before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
