A STORIED HISTORY
Ideally situated in the Historic District of Miami Beach, Lennox Hotel maintains its original Art Deco and Mediterranean Revival architectural style exterior, blending in with the historic character of the city.
Once the Peter Miller Hotel, the four interconnected buildings were designed by world-renowned architect Russell Pancoast, who was credited with shaping the architectural landscape of Miami Beach.
After construction was completed in 1936, the Peter Miller Hotel had the distinction of serving as one of the U.S. Army’s Air Force Training Command centers during World War II. Lennox Hotel is pleased to uphold this celebrated legacy.
A REVOLUTION OF DESIGN AND STYLE
While preserving the facade of the historic Peter Miller Art Deco hotel in an ode to Miami Beach past, Lennox Hotel has completely fashioned a new interior, bringing in the finest furnishings, upcycled materials, and natural and organic textiles from abroad to create a cutting-edge and contemporary space.
Crafted in Patagonia from natural wood, handmade furnishings were brought especially to Lennox Hotel by esteemed Interior Designer Juan Ciavarella and his Handford Design SA company.
Adding to the infusion of natural elements, Lennox Hotel brought the outdoors in, transforming the interior walls with naturally preserved moss to create the ultimate synergy of nature and design.
Situated in the hotel pool courtyard and restaurant, the sustainably-harvested greenery is said to have healing properties to improve air quality, filter noise, and reduce energy consumption.
