FISHING
The backcountry of the Florida Keys is the perfect stage for any sport-fishing enthusiast or beginner. While silently polling across the beautiful, expansive waters, you will look for the elusive “BIG 3” – tarpon, permit and bonefish.

Imagine the thrill of hooking one of these legendary fighters among other species depending on the time of the year. Trips are available for fly or spin fishing and can be booked for a 4, 6 or 8 hour trip.

SCUBA DIVING
Our trips to Looe Key Reef afford you the opportunity to float weightlessly among all the colorful creatures that make this beautiful reef their home.

Because of its relatively shallow depth, the reef is a great dive site for divers new to the sport, experienced divers, and for those who have been out of the water for some time. We have professional Scuba instructors that guide every dive to maximize your experience.

SNORKELING
Little Palm Island is encompassed by the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, which includes the world’s 3rd largest barrier reef. Looe Key Reef, which is consistently rated as one of the best places to snorkel or scuba dive in the U.S., is located just a short boat ride from our island.

Our friendly, professional crew aboard our dedicated dive and snorkel boat, Island Girl, provides all the equipment, amenities and refreshments you will need.

SAILING
The sea is calling. We offer stunning day sails to pristine turquoise waters, and our concierge will also arrange unforgettable night sails accompanied by your favorite wine. The keys sunsets while on the water are hard to describe, but breathtaking to experience.

We will arrange the perfect excursion for you, complete with a complimentary bottle of champagne, wine or brews. As an extra treat let our chef send along a charcuterie tray or other lite bites.

SEAPLANE
Arrive direct to Little Palm Island via private seaplane charter with Tropic Ocean Airways. Fly direct to Little Palm Island from airports in mainland Florida and the Bahamas. Connecting from major carriers to your private seaplane charter is easy and stress-free. Enjoy the magnificent views over Florida’s shoreline en route to the Keys.

Once on the island you may also choose a local aerial sightseeing flight to include sights such as the Seven Mile Bridge, Sombrero reef and lighthouse, Bahia Honda State Park and Key West. Reserve a day trip to Key West, “Island Hop” from Little Palm Island to an eclectic “locals” restaurant to enjoy a grilled fish sandwich….or even have lunch in the Bahamas!

SKY DIVE
Make a tandem skydive from two miles high over our incredible Florida Keys. While climbing to altitude you will see the spectacular views of Key West, the Atlantic Ocean, the Florida reefs, the Gulf and the Florida Keys.

After jumping from the plane, you will experience the thrill of falling at speeds of 130 mph or more. Once your parachute opens, you will enjoy five to seven minute ride floating quietly back to earth for a soft, pinpoint landing.

DOLPHIN ENCOUNTER 
Meet our family of dolphins and sea lions at Dolphin Research Center, a not-for-profit research and educational facility that allows you to swim with the dolphins, witness daily demonstrations of the dolphins’ high flying athletics, learn about dolphin education fun facts, dolphin research, new behavior training, medical behaviors, and much more.

ECO-TOURS
Indulge yourself in a natural history and sightseeing excursion into the Great White Heron Wildlife Refuge, the 2nd largest migration path of birds in the U.S. With over 250 species migrating through annually, there are a grand diversity of birds and marine life to view, such as Bald Eagles, Osprey, Roseate Spoonbills, Herons, Egrets, along with Dolphin and Sea Turtles.

Take the binoculars from your room and prepare for a breathtaking day of observing nature at its finest! This trip is available for 4, 6 or 8 hours.

DOCK IN PARADISE
If you’re sailing or yachting through the Florida Keys, Little Palm Island marina is the ideal place to dock for a few days. Our marina slips accommodate vessels up to 120 ft. in length with a draft up to 6 ft., in addition to 575 ft. of dock space bordering a protected lagoon, ideal for smaller boats.

You’ll have 30 or 50 amp electric service, a water allowance of one gallon per foot each day, and use of the island’s dining room, spa and recreational facilities, including pool, snorkeling and fishing gear.

ENVIRONMENT
Our partnership with Mote Marine will flourish in late 2020 and will involve many efforts in restoring our reef. Major focus will be on installing a site directly off our Great House in Newfound Harbor.

Served by the world’s leading Chefs and enjoyed by over 75 million guests a year in 14 countries, exceptionally great tasting Vero Water is an eco-friendly alternative to traditional bottled water.

Serving luxury Vero Still and Sparkling water to our guests in-room, enables us to protect the pristine environment of Little Palm Island Resort & Spa by eliminating single use plastic and glass water bottle waste, significantly reducing our carbon footprint.

Following the devastation of Hurricane Irma, our goal was to restore the natural coastline of the island. Appropriate sea grasses were planted on our beach as a result, and underwater buoys were installed to protect the seagrass in the surrounding waters.

We no longer utilize tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our suites are appointed with our signature Coco Mango bath & body essentials in large multi-use pump bottles.

Plastic straws are not used on our island. Paper straws are available on request and metal straws with the resort logo are available for sale in the island boutique.

We donate to the Conch Republic Marine Army, to help in their efforts to clean and restore the marine habitats of the Florida Keys. The mangrove forests that protect our reefs still have many items that need to be retrieved.

While rebuilding the property following hurricane Irma, high efficiency HVAC systems were installed in all our island structures. Our gorgeous landscape lighting as well as interior lights were also upgraded at LED products.
