Easy to find, hard to forget!
Loyk Mara Luxury Camp is located on the bank of a seasonable river Ntiakitiak on a 150 acres private land at the border of Olare Motorogi conservancy and Masai Mara National Reserve – the richest National Reserve of Kenya.
You can reach Loyk Mara Camp either by road or by air. The distance from Nairobi to the camp is 280km. It usually takes around 5-6 hours by road.
Alternatively Guests can come by air using one of the numerous companies such like Airkenya, Safarilink, FlySax, Mombasa Air etc. We use Olkiombo Airstrip to our fly-in clients. Its 20km from the airstrip and takes 30 minutes drive with game drives to the camp
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We sincerely believe that deep down our hearts each one of us here is a child. Remembering our childhood, we find that we were, full of love and joy, generous and open-hearted, hungry for new discoveries, impressions and always ready to play.
Time passes and adult life with all its rules and restrictions that are imposed on us, our environment makes our inner Child to retreat under the pressure of life circumstances.
There are still games: studies, job, business, politics, wars and etc, but no more fun, no more joy and love to share. We still expect more impressions from what we do, but we keep getting them less and less. We get into daily chores and forget who we really are.
The Child inside each of us becomes frustrated and disappointed. And since the whole world is a reflection of our beliefs about it, the reality itself around us takes shape far from being ideal, which we all dreamed of since childhood.
All our experience clearly shows that it is sufficient only to give to adults a chance once again to feel like a child, to fill themselves with pleasant experiences and allow them to express their feelings – excitement in anticipation of adventure, pleasure and joy of new achievements and learn new skills, and much more – as their hearts are filled again with the same enthusiasm and excitement that they often experienced in childhood, when life was just beginning.
And as a result they begin to share their feelings and impressions with their environment – family, friends, colleagues and just people around – with positive vibrations begin to spread beyond the place where they initially appeared, and they fill the world, changing it for the better, imbued with Love and Joy.

All tents are fully equipped to make your staying safe and comfortable in the heart of the wild nature. The Camp has 10 fabulously luxurious en-suite rooms designed to accommodate business and leisure travellers with all in room amenities and private verandahs.
We have 1 family suite and 8 tents which can be set as Single, Twin or Double room upon your request. To ensure personalised service to guests, we work in close guidance with all our staff to offer all round the clock support; this is what marks the difference between a good hotel and a singular hotel.

MYTHBUSTERS
Everyone in his/her life heard a lot of stories and tales about African wildlife and the traditions Maasai tribe.
Every evening we gather around the bonfire to listen to the lectures on the wildlife and Origins of Maasai people narrated by naturalist and keeper of traditions of the culture of Maasai tribe, share our observations and bust the myths.
BIRD WATCHING
There are more than 450 different species of birds in Masai Mara. We installed special feeding boxes within the camp area to attract more of them and give our Guests an opportunity to watch them from a distance of a hand.

MAASAI MANYATTA
To allow our guests to turn theoretical knowledge about the culture and traditions of the Maasai tribe in the real practical experience, we built a real traditional Maasai Manyatta for our clients to learn their traditional skills and daily life responsibilities of the Maasai men and women.
You can have an overnight at the real Maasai mud house – all this you will experience at LOYK MARA CAMP. You also have an opportunity to support the local community by buying souvenirs made by local men and women. All revenue goes direct to the community to improve the lives of local children and women.
OLPUL EXPERIENCE
Initially the camp site was known by the bush behind the tent №10 where young Maasai Warriors used to gather and share their meals. We give our Guests the chance to get the unique experience of Olpul «Blessed» meals as it traditionally was among Maasais.
No forks or spoons, no table or crockeries – just the bonfire, the sheep meat just slotted for you and grilled on the wooden sticks, the bush, the stars and the sounds of the wild nature.
NIGHT GAME DRIVE
