Ma’in Hot Springs or Hammamat Ma’in (biblical Belemounta), 74 km (64 miles) south of Amman and 264 meters (866 feet) below sea level, is the thermal mineral hot springs and waterfalls, where Herod the Great was said to have bathed in its medicinal water, and where people have come for thermal treatments, or simply to enjoy a hot soak, since the days of Rome.
The most famous thermal spring in the hills above the Dead Sea is Hammamat Ma’in, 18.5km from the Dead Sea resorts.
Here the water, ranging from 45°C to a blistering 60°C, tumbles off the hillside in a series of waterfalls and less assuming trickles, and is collected in a variety of pools for public bathing. It contains potassium, magnesium and calcium.
Royal Suite
Royal Suites offer both generous personal space and picturesque views of the stunning valleys and waterfalls beneath from the six balconies.
This delightful lifestyle experience is epitomized by a private spa within the suite premises – ideal for Spa treatments and pampering. There are two bedrooms plus a separate living room, guest washroom and pantry. The two bathrooms include a Jacuzzi bathtub and a shower.
Junior Suite
Junior Suites are furnished with natural materials and colorful furnishing highlights, with king size bed. All rooms have their own living room with games table and a balcony.
Some offer bathtub and multiple balconies with breathtaking views of the valley or waterfalls and surrounding dramatic countryside. They offer sleeping and living areas and are located on the 4th and 5th floor of the building. All bathrooms feature a rain shower and some rooms also offer a bathtub.
Superior Room
Superior Rooms are furnished with natural materials and colorful furnishing highlights, with twin or king size beds. All rooms have sitting area with games table and a balcony.
Some offer bathtub and multiple balconies with breathtaking views of the valley or surrounding dramatic mountain views They present a studio concept, with sleeping and living areas.
Olive Resturant
The Olive provides guests with an authentic Zarb dining experience in its original Bedouin tradition. The Bedouin chefs serve the meal communal-style under a lamp lit Bedouin tent. Guests may also choose candlelit private tables amongst the olive trees overlooking the hot spring falls.
Guests are invited to arrive at 8:00 pm (7:00 pm during winter season) for a welcome drink; Arak. Dinner is accompanied by a selection of local Jordanian wines, plus a fully stocked bar.
As Zarb is an outdoor dining experience and its availability is subject to weather conditions. Seating is limited to 24 persons, so reservations are necessary.

SPA
The Spa is build up away from the resort in the valley near a natural water fall. The concept of the spa was created from an old castle in the dessert, Amra Castle, and the stones that is used in the building is all Jordanian stones. The Spa won an award of the most environmental building in Jordan in 2007.
The spa consist of 2 natural water falls cascade into the thermal pool. the mineral water from the natural water falls consist of a lot of minerals and trace elements that help the blood circulation, ease muscle and joint pain, helps with arthritis, skin disorders.
The Spa is situated at 300 meters below see level which makes the area full of oxygen and protected from the harm waves of the sun. most of our treatment is Slow menu treatments and using our herbal garden.
CASCADE SPA
The classically designed award winning Cascade Spa sits directly beneath one of the natural hot spring waterfalls that cascade into the spa pool and relaxation area.
The Cascade Spa is a standalone building featuring 10 treatment rooms and a unique steam cave, which offers an experience of intimate privacy and relaxation.

The water temperature is 34° Celsius, this waterfall is an essential part of our Cascade Spa experience where water flows down direct into our swimming pool. creating a natural thermal pool and sun beds around ( Extra Charges)

Family Waterfall
This waterfall is 50 meters height, it has a temperature of 55˚C at its source and cools down to 45˚C as it flows on the surface of the earth.
Ladies Waterfall
A Closed and private area for ladies use only, it has a changing room and is close to the public area site. The waterfall gas a temperature if 35˚C pouring into a pool in which ladies can swim.
Main waterfall
The biggest waterfall in the resort with thermal pool and sitting areas around.
Roman Bath
Indoor hot springs creating a steam room experience with thermal pools and separate areas for ladies and gent’s.
Swimming pools
- Main Pool (Thermal) achemical free swimming pool with direct views to the hot spring waterfall, with total surface space of 210 sqm and depth 1.3 m, only available for guests in-house.
- AlWaha Pool a normal water swimming pool with total surface space of 552 sqm and depth from 8 cm – 3 m, only available for guests in-house.
Meetings and Events
For meetings and private function the resort has a variety of function rooms, outdoor venues and themed parties on offer. With breathtaking views of the mountains and Dead Sea from the terrace of the Al Wadi Suite makes this obvious pre-event meeting place.
The banqueting suite can cater up to 100 persons, equipped with the latest technology and unique style that stimulates the senses in a natural way to provide not only a unique and pleasant environment but also a more structured and successful meeting.
The Jabal board room is suitable for smaller meetings and events. Tailor made menus for all events and décor with special requests can be provided.
