Antonella and Francesco Martucci welcome their guests to their farmhouse built at the beginning of the 16th century. Situated between the sea and ancient olive groves, it has a wonderful panoramic view onto one of Apulia’s most enchanting spots: the Gargano National Park.

In a setting of rare beauty, La Chiusa delle More Farm is characterised for its excellent cuisine, ready to be sampled at breakfast in the form of lemon and chocolate tart, croissants, fresh orange juice, fresh ricotta cheese and aromatic honey, served in the rear of a vast olive grove.

An ancient, 16th century, carefully renovated farmhouse set in a vast ancient olive grove only 500 m from the sea and 1.5 km from Peschici. Owner-run, the farm offers a warm and cordial reception apart from the special care for the preparation of the meals served on the panoramic veranda restaurant.

An ideal location for those searching for a holiday that combines leasure and nature in the vicinity to the sea. The accommodation comprises 10 rooms with independent entrances, all tastefully furnished and equipped with sat TV, safe, mini fridge, hairdryer and air conditioning.

COOKING COURSES 
Your stay at the “Chiusa delle More” consent you to participate together with our chef Antonella to interesting typical cooking lessons which permit you to discover the segret culinaries of the Apulian lands.

To mix the the flour and the eggs for the bread, to create different kinds of pasta, for example the “gnocchetti of patateous”. “orecchietti”, “troccoli”, “strascinate”(all typical shapes of pasta), how to prepare tasty sauces for the pasta, soups with a large sort of vegetables and further the mash of broad beans with the wild chicory and at the end to discover the segrets of the able cooking of the meats.

Using the products just picked up from the kitchen garden of the “Chiuse delle More” preparing the Parmesan, timbales of vegetables, ancient delicious dishes of courgette, pepper and aubergines, focaccia (kind of flat bread), typical Apulian fried pizza ( they are fried little pizza’s filled with mozzarella, meat or onions), as well as delicious and different kinds of sweets for making up delicious antipasta’s with the products of our lands, little cakes, vegetable rolls, fried vegetables in batter.

The course that will take place exclusively during the month af May and September will be at free charge for our clients who are staying at the Chiusa delle More and is of two hours daily.

THE WELLNESS THERAPY
A suitable wellness schedule for each customer will be offered on demand beside hospitality, food and sea this year. A wellness spot in the farm will be available for the following:

• lumbago and neck pain handed treatments
• backbone protusion and slipped disc rehabilative treatments
• suitable pilates gym schedule
• walking tour among Gargano paths
• relaxing and stretching sessions

LOCATION
The Gargano is the corner of Puglia with the greatest contrasts and most varied landscape.
